Over at Kotaku, the news is that Greatest-game-ever Scott Pilgrim vs. The World would have friends over, "Edgar Wright calls in some friends from Shaun of the Dead." Since this game is created independently from the movie, even having its own ending, director Edgar wright has no input on the game. Unfortunately, that means no Winchester bar locations and Ed Zombies.
The good news that among all the nod's and winks to gaming history, the game is adding a cheat code! Right from the title screen, every player will have access to fight the undead. This is within the game, but unlocks only with rhythmic button presses of the bygone days of cheating. Hopefully, there will be a sound to know you unlocked it.
