I'm not sure that 64 players has been confirmed on consoles yet. From the Battlefield Blog, "As for fan favorite features, how does the return of jets, prone, and 64-player multiplayer (on PC) sound?"
I'm having issues adding my Xbox Live account to my Giant Bomb profile as it says it is already registered by someone else. I'd appreciate any help getting it registered to myself. (The Xbox account is Menards)
A game that I really enjoy relaxing to is Osmos, plus it's ten dollars on Steam. Other than that, one that looks like it will be a little more action oriented will be Torchlight. However I haven't played it yet as it comes out Tuesday.
I hardly post on the comments but I feel that I should concerning this issue. To be honest I've never been a huge COD fan (more of a Battlefield one) so this issue is minor for me. However I will outright say that the loss of dedicated servers along with a $60 price point (in comparison to paying $34 for both L4D2 and Borderlands) has made me come to the decision to not purchase Modern Warfare 2 this fall. When playing online FPS games I generally always play at the same servers where I play with people I know and enjoy playing with. And i understand that you can have a friends list and set up a game with them, it is simply not as easy as one click and joining the same place and people as I do now. While I will not slam the game saying that it is going to be junk, there are simply a large number of other games that I can invest my time and money into and simply not worry about this whole situation.
