Relationships are something aren't they? Especially when your meant to deal with some big important problem with the world while either trying to hold onto a relationship or end up falling in love along the way. In either case, these are just a few actual relationships in games done well.
Also just a to point out, i'm choosing not to put anything from final fantasy on this list. Nothing against the series, its just most of there ideas of romance are very... mushy.

Dom and Maria Santiago I would argue to say that one of the most dramatic moments in all of Gears of war. Was the moment when Dom Discovered his wife was one of the humans who were captured by the locust. But upon discovery finds that she is nearly catatonic and gives her a merciful death.
