I think the numbers do indicate their current position. When I went to vote, Jeff was #2 and the #3 and #4 positions were swapped from the picture posted above.
Man, some people are being fairly rude in here. Stating an opinion is fine but some people are not doing so in a way that doesn't make them look like a giant asshole (most are being fine though).
Jason and the rest are great. I enjoy the Bombcast. While I wouldn't mind Jason to be a regular member, I have faith that Giant Bomb knows what is best.
I am also cautiously optimistic for this game. But I think that the bulk of my desire to play it is due to the absolute dearth of quality RPGs so far for the PS4.
I basically only pay attention to Giant Bomb's list. I like the idea. I especially like that it is just an easier way for me to see the games that the GB staff really like and then buy for myself. To be honest, I would get the same thing out of it if there was an evolving list on this site of recommended games.
In saying that, I read enough about video games that I don't need a steam list to tell me to buy Skyrim or Saints Row. But it might help you guys pick up the odd user. It would be interesting to know what percentage of curator users actually click through and visit the site that is recommending games. I would imagine it's fairly low.
@franticrain: Yes, you're looking at the weight of the menu items, not the caloric content.
Crunchy taco is 170 calories. Cheesy gordita crunch is 490. Burrito supreme is between 390 and 410 depending on the meat. That's at least 1050 calories in total.
