True 'nuff. I thought I was there, clearly I shouldn't be drinking whilst I post.

Where abouts? I was born in Newfoundland. Unfortunately, I only lived there for a year. I really wish I had one of the many terrific accents from the east coast. The majority of my family has it, including a couple with the strongest "bay" accent you'll ever hear. Love it.

I've been all up and down the maritime, though.

What kind of booze do you drink? I believe a person is defined by their tonic of choice! (I don't actually believe that, drink whatever you want)

As I am Canadian, I enjoy most beer. Labbat and Molson Canadian being my two favourites, as if that's a surprise.
In terms of the "hard stuff" I enjoy Canadian Club a good deal, and Crown Royal always goes down very smoothly with some Coke. (Not cane)
Recently, I've found I have a liking for pouring half a bottle of Malibu into a large glass, and then filling the rest up with some kind of fruity juice. Usually Fruitopia Watermelon Wisdom, or any kind of Five Alive. It tastes good enough to drink it like juice, which gets me drunk and cursing in a good 30 minutes. I like to get there quick.

How about everyone else?

Also, Canadian. Mayhaps a friendship shall be forged?

I'm a huge Prince of Persia fan, so I would have loved it either way. However, I am digging the new art direction, in particular, the Okami style world re-invigoration is terrific.

"I haven't read all four pages so I don't know if anyone has brought this up or not... I think the biggest question is not whether they will be able to compete. But whether they should compete. What makes Giant Bomb special since the day I first found out about it was that it was a tight group of friends doing what they love and having fun with their work. The podcast every week would not be great without this chemistry between them. Would we really want to change how Giant Bomb is to make it more like other gaming sites out there? I wouldn't.
"

I was posting the exact same thing before the site "bombed" on me again.
I fully agree that Giant Bomb is offering something unique in comparison to the sites in question. The emphasis on community and top-shelf content, with what could almost be seen as a disregard for the corporate side of the gaming-press, is not only refreshing, it's needed.
Giant Bomb is "keeping it real", for lack of a better term, and I applaud them for it.
