I had half a brownie and took two hits from a "brownie." It was slow to hit me, but it was powerful when it did. For a while, I couldn't stop grinning. I'm already pretty bubbly naturally, but I became this smiley giggly cartoon character. Everything that was interesting at all became hilarious. That part was awesome and I wouldn't be opposed to trying it again.
However, coming down from it was pretty horrible. I know it's completely in my head, but I could feel it squishing around in my brain. If I smelled something powerful, I could feel the front of my brain expanding. If I heard a loud sound, I could feel the back of my head expanding. It made its way through my bloodstream and compelled my limbs to twitch. I knew in my head that I was gonna be okay regardless of how I felt right at that very moment, so I lay down and tried to comfort myself by thinking about how people eat brownies all the time and function acceptably and watching my friends play Super Mario World.
I stayed just a tad brownie-ful for almost the entirety of the next day. I could taste the brownie every time I burped. It put me in a good mood and made me a better singer and made me more expressive.
I'm not sure it'd be worth doing again. I'm trying to enter the big-kid workforce, and that might possibly come with "brownie" tests, and the brain-tingles were pretty scary and something I'd wanna avoid repeating. But the giggles and the munchies... those were simply magical.

The Pillar of Fire is a thing. It unambiguously refers to the gigantic pillar of fire that lit the way for Moses and so on as they were leaving for the Promised Land.

Pretty neat imo, calling down God to smite your opponents.

Music isn't just listening to a song from start to finish. If you still have music going on in your head and you're singing and playing instruments and hearing others hum you're still listening to music. If you're watching TV or playing video games or in the same room as someone whose headphones are up too loud, you're listening to music. Even the people who say they could live without music probably don't realize how much it's a part of background noise.
I mean, I could do it, but it would probably not be very much fun since I'm pretty much constantly singing something.

Girl, what you sayin
I'll admit that I have a little bit of a soft spot for Fuuka because she reminds me a little bit of me, but she's pretty much the only character who isn't a caricature.
Ken's annoying, but he's not that grating, and he's supposed to be annoying. If you've ever seen 11-year-olds try to fit in with older kids, it's basically like that.
And Junpei is pretty terrible, yeah.

But I will fight you on my AD rankings. Tobias is the most awesome character on any show ever pretty much.

You love Shinjiro don't you
I never understood the love for Shinjiro. He's blaaaaaand. He doesn't do anything until that one full moon thing and then he doesn't do anything after that. The entire dynamic changes when he joins and everyone's talking about how much they love Shinjiro, which is odd because you never see them interact.

I've never seen a movie and gone "ew, that's some horrible directing." I've probably seen horrible directing, but I don't know the difference. The only things I really notice are acting and, to a lesser extent, writing.
I'm so shallow :|
