Hey just got my copy of Red Dead today and was told that it was the last retail copy in Glasgow. The guy in GAME told me that all the other GAMEs had sold out as well as GAMESTATION and HMV. My friend told me that he tried lots of ASDAs and TESCOs but they had not even ordered them in. Anyone else in the UK having a hard time getting this???

Does anyone know why this game is selling for such a low price?? In the UK i got this game from ASDA for £25. Its listed on the GAME website for £32.99 AMAZON £28.99. Not that im complaining that i got it for 25 pounds but why the low selling point so quickly? ASDA still had FFXIII at £38.99 so its not that they sell everything cheaply.

Is it the same in america? For americans new games in the UK are normally £39.99.

@ZeForgotten: lol True, i guess if you can fall hundreds of feet and land in a pile of small hay unharmed a simple knife to the gut wont hurt too much, but at least they could have given some sort of answer. They just seem to ignore it which i find a little odd. Amazing game still.

@fwylo: Mmmmm but he was suspended in the air.... and that dagger sure looked like it went right into him, if that was their answer it should have at least showed him removing fake blood packs or something.

@luce: Even if he got very lucky there was a lot of blood on the floor when he got up, surely it would have at least impacted his fighting for the final fight!

You are fighting the boss... you think you beat him... but then he uses the staff and pins you... then he raises you up and stabs you deep in the stomach...

"Oh no Etzio you cant die!" I think... "What will happen now???"......

The answer.... Nothing!! He gets up completely fine, not even a slow down in movement and no reference to it in the final fight. Did anyone else notice this? Did i miss something or did they just completely ignore the fact he had a knife plunged into him but was miraculously cured not 30 seconds later.

Any thoughts?

you better have strategy to play demon's souls it's just not pause and give orders strategy "
Really? I thought Demon Souls was all about when to block and when to strike, since timing your next move without caution will make you lose a shit load of health. "
Is that not Strategy??? To know your opponents weakness and strengths and think of a way to defeat him? "
yeah if that's not strategy what the hell is? "
How is timing your blocks and strikes strategy?! "
Well by that argument how is pausing and pushing the A button strategy? Some opponents in DS strike hard and slow while others are fast and move a lot. And all the bosses require a lot of thinking to work out the best way to approach and defeat them.

Both games have strategy its just the one type of fighting is more reflex and timing based, doesnt mean there is no strategy.
