@topcyclist: I think the only parts of Sonic games that are worse than the hold-to-go-fast-and-hit-things parts are the slow-down-and-do-some-terrible-platforming parts.

I echo the call to play Prey: Mooncrash. As for DEATHLOOP -- GamePass will be great for it, free sounds about the right price for that disappointment.

@danryckert: The legality of 47's actions is pretty open-and-shut, but the Hitman games don't shy away from considering their morality. ICA (a totally illegal international murder-for-hire company) sees 47 as the perfect weapon, not just because he's incredibly talented but because he has been (literally) created without any sense of morality. They can point him at a problem and he will kill said problem. But as 47's handler, it's Diana who chooses which jobs he takes, which allows her to serve as 47's moral compass (hopefully long enough for him to develop his own, which is kind of what the 2016 trilogy is all about) while safeguarding him from the less scrupulous members of ICA. This can bring her into conflict with her bosses and rivals, who simultaneously fear 47's ability and salivate at the thought of wresting him away from Diana.

Diana's choice of missions (which is mentioned on occasion -- I think there's some ambient dialogue in Hitman 3's Argentina stage where folks are criticizing her refusal to bat for the winning team) shows where her allegiances lie, and they are strictly opposed to "the powers that be." She sees extralegal murder as a means to bring justice to those whose wealth and power make them otherwise untouchable. This puts her in the unenviable position of needing 47's skills to reach the unreachable while simultaneously knowing that every second that 47 lives is another chance for him to fall into the wrong hands (and without a conscience, it's possible he will never find his way back out). In the Sapeinza briefing, Diana laments the possibility that the Caruso virus would create a world of "armchair assassins," likely because she fears that the virus would give the hyper-elite the kind of murder power that she has been safeguarding for her more justice-minded uses (and also because she has some degree of reverence for the craft of personal assassination).

I have a friend who said "Jet got their songs from an AC/DC yard sale" and I don't know if he was being for real or just laying down an incredibly savage burn.
