I find the most amusing thing is some of the Pokestops. When I installed the game I happened to be near a cathedral and it was hilarious getting Pokeballs out of the Episcopal Diocese's sign and a St. John's Cross.

Had sudden urge to watch the Double Fine Happy Action Theater QL so I could listen to Ryan lose his mind over the dubstep part. Only later did I realize what day it was. Love you and miss you, Ryan. :)

I immediately thought of the Montana Testicle Festival. I've never been, otherwise I would probably have known this term. As someone who has cattle-ranching relatives there I'm glad to know it just in case...forewarned is forearmed...

Ha, if this had happened in America, the word "Bloodbath" would have been several sizes larger. I felt icky every time I went back to CNN to check for updates, just because of those front page headlines.

I haven't bought a physical version of a PC game in a long time, I didn't realize only providing one DVD and making you download the rest was standard practice now. That really sucks. The entire point of purchasing a physical version is to avoid huge downloads. :(

I think some higher level backers had the opportunity to participate in the beta testing, which has been going on the last few weeks. Chris Bischoff has been sharing some of their reactions on Twitter (@StasisGame).

@magnulus: I did threaten to write fan fiction in another thread (it's not like I had any experience with that as a sad teenager....nooope). I would aspire to write lines worthy of that fanfiction_txt Twitter account. I must study.

EDIT: I've got it. Crowd-sourced slash fiction, everyone take turns writing a line! It would be so bad. So terrible. Erotically unspeakable.

@magnulus: When puzzling over one of the final contradictions, I got stuck on Paul's comment that Ryan "preferred blondes" and the only blonde I could think of was Simon (Lisa might be blonde too?) and once I thought about it I could not unthink it. Simon and Ryan would have the most gloriously dysfunctional relationship, Simon being so devoted to Atlas and wanting to please Ryan so much...Ryan enjoying the power over others...I feel that would tie in nicely with ritual sex orgies in the mirror room or what have you. That's my idea and I'm sticking to it! Ryan/Simon shipper 4 life!
