That's because you are hearing the vibrations of your voice box from inside your head, where as other people are hearing it from out of your mouth. What you hear on an answering machine is what you sound like to the rest of the world, only you hear yourself differently. "

not really with looks, no.  but if i ever watch videos or listen to messages i've left for people, my voice sounds totally different than i hear it.  like it doesn't even sound like "me" to me.  it's really quite odd...

correct me if i'm wrong here but...
Wasn't he supposed to tie/handcuff the guy to the fireplace and burn the house down.  Telling him that he doesn't think the saw will cut through the handcuffs before the fire spreads... implying that he would have to cut off his arm or leg or whatever it was.  I liked this a little more in the book, but the whole cleaver to the head really showed how angry Rorschach was in the film.  not a complaint...just a question?
