I have been having a lot of issues playing videos through my Amazon Fire TV as of around the 17th of March. I was getting a "null" error message on nearly all videos uploaded after that date, but oddly not all videos uploaded. I thought maybe it was only the Premium videos, but it's also videos that can be watched on YouTube. My Fire TV is a couple of years old, but the software is up to date. I haven't been able to watch any of the UPF's on it these last two weeks, which is a bit of a pain since I watch 90% of GB content through my Fire TV.
Jazz. I didn't care much for the music of my generation in high school, so I started exploring backwards. My grandparents raised me, so I became familiar with the popular genres of jazz and swing at a young age. As I expanded my explorations I sampled lots of different jazz subgenres and artists. Like any form of music some I liked others I couldn't wrap my head around. Back then the only way to really get into jazz was buy albums, check out the stash found in libraries (community and collegic) or raid a friend's parents old collection. These days I just listen to everything on Spotify. Currently my favorite album of all time is Dizzy Gillespie on the French Riviera (1962). If anyone has Amazon Prime, Ken Burns Jazz documentary is on it. It's a long, but good resource.
Jazz is life. It gives me joy like no other form of music.
I play this nearly everyday right now. I am mostly F2P, but I really love this game even without losing control and going down that rabbit (whale?) hole. After 3 years, I was tired of Destiny 2, but I still have that collect-stuff-and-level-up itch. I play PC with mouse and keyboard. I can't imagine how people would play this on mobile.
This can't be good news for the streaming services either. It's no surprise that a cable company is limiting access as more and more people move away from traditional TV towards online streaming be it Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Disney+, Apple+ or HBO Max.
Abby is among my most favorite members of Giant Bomb since its inception. 13 Deadly Sims, Six Crazy Frights, Clue Crew, Resident Evil games, the E3 Vlogs as well as her joining the others for Sea Beasts and, of course, the Giant Beastcast. Each week I eagerly look forward to seeing her next uploads. Even when she is in a mostly off camera producer role, she can step in with a comment that has me rolling with laughter. I will miss her as much as I miss Dan, but I am excited to see where she winds up next.
I gotta say, though, 2020 continues to be a bummer.
Does this come with Prime or is it extra? Amazon keeps raising the price of Prime (now $120 per year), so this could ease the sting of another price hike.
I like the idea of Zenon and we’re heading into the Halloweentown season. The first thing that popped into my mind was 1996’s High School High with Jon Lovitz.
