Walking on Sunshine by Katrina and the Waves has been in at least 2 dozen movies...ugh, that one hit wonder just won't go away.  DisneyRadio girl band Aly & AJ did a version, too for Herbie remake starring Lindsay Lohan.  The song's been in so many movies, it even has it's own Wikipedia page listing them all.

Isn't everything representative a man's penis and the penis itself representative of male ego?   Now excuse me while I drive my expensive sports car to the gun range near the Washington Monument where I will eat Twinkies and smoke cigars.

...and I think Godzilla is actually a metaphor for my penis!  (at least many an Asian has fled screaming from the sight of it)

Firefox (with addons) works pretty well for me, and since Firefox itself loads faster than IE, that time savings also applies to the actual download time.   IE used to be faster for downloading (never for loading pages though) but not anymore.  The folks who do the addons have done a lot to equalize whatever gain IE used to have.

I don't know anything about the other browsers.

Any map pack that is a year old should be free, anything that is more than 6 months old should be half price and anything new is priced at whatever the publisher deems reasonable.  Of course, everyone wants everything to be free, but that ain't how the world works (on consoles), so I am willing to pay for map packs if they seem worth it for the price and I expect I'll get a decent amount of play from them.  I don't pay for Halo or Gears maps because I don't play those games multiplayer often, but I do enjoy COD multiplayer so buying them makes sense since I will actually play those maps.

Nope.  I'd like to do that, but chances are something shiny will catch my eye and I'll pick it up.  Or something I've been looking forward to for a long time will finally be released and I can't wait to finish whatever I am playing before buying the new game.  The odd thing is, often I will still play what I am working my way through before starting the new game.  This is because if I start a new game, I might never see the credits roll on the old one.

X-Play is okay as far as an on-air video game show.  I like the ease of seeing some of the games I am interested in.  I don't care about their reviews because I have no idea who is writing them.  But, for checking out graphics and very basic information on forth-coming games, I believe they serve their purpose well.  A better "show" is Area5/Revision3's Co-Op which is from the former 1UP Show folks which airs weekly online.  X-Play is about as good as Gametrailers TV (Spike) which is fine with me.  Besides, sometimes some of their sketches are mildly funny.  Morgan Von Webb, Ratty and Canadian Guy gave me a chuckle on occasion.

Attack of the Show is a different kind of program.  Spawned from TechTV's the Screen Savers, it has evolved into a more general "geek" variety show.  I view it as a late-night TV show that airs in the early evening...for geeks.  Instead of celebrities pushing their latest films, the show shines a spotlight on the hottest tech and related topics.  Videos of the day replace the opening monologue as the hosts trade jokes in the same way that Dave and Paul (or Conan & Andy) might on network late night.  This past week AOTS celebrated their 1000th episode and it was fun seeing clips from when the show was hosted by Kevin Rose (Digg.com founder) and Sarah Lane (Current TV).  I had forgotten about "homerowed".   But, as time progressed, those two left for other projects and Kevin Pereira and Olivia Munn carried on*.   I stopped watching for a while after Sarah left.  Not because I was nostalgically longing for the days of TechTV but because the show changed for several months.   The topics became much more mainstream and there would be entire episodes that never mentioned video games or computers.  I remember a story they did on Britney Spears that would have been perfectly at home on E! or Entertainment Tonight.  Eventually, the show found its voice under the two current hosts and returned to its "geek" roots while injecting some juvenile humor that could have wider appeal.  I think the show, like late-night TV is often hit or miss on many skits, but I enjoy watching the segments that interest me.   There is also a sense of "live without a net" that is refreshing for anything on mainstream television.

*I know that Kevin Pereira was a host from the start (or close to it) and Olivia joined when Sarah left to get married. Kevin Rose left a year or more before that.

Activision's 1982 "Space Invaders" inspired MegaMania for the 2600.  It was also the first game (and one of the few) that I was any good at.  I could "zone" in that game and hit that sweet spot where the game just can't get any harder then just coast for long lengths of time.

One of the highlights of Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge was the online multiplayer that can't be experienced in 2009.  Back when the title was released it was a fan favorite and match play was hectic and thrilling.  I understand that you are just reviewing the game based off your experience with the single player, and on that alone, you are probably right.  It's been five or six years since I've played the title, so my memory is a tad fuzzy.  But, I do remember enjoying the cheesy story that paralleled the stylized look of 1991's the Rocketeer.  That's the problem with reviewing games years after their release.  People change and both their taste and expectations evolve.  Some entertainment characteristics are firmly rooted in the time they've been released.  Does this mean they are worth less because they are not "timeless"?  Maybe, but I doubt it will change the opinions of any of us who enjoyed the game when it was first released.  There are probably dozens and dozens of "classic" games that are given higher marks than they would recieve had they not been experienced at the time of their release.
