1. Tomato Adventure
I know import games pretty well. Yep. |
2. Chie Satonaka
Chie was definitely my favorite character out of all the party members in Persona 4 and I went out of my way to ensure the protagonist dated her in his free time. So it's natural of me to write up a bit about her. |
3. Social Link
They're an important part of the recent Persona games. Somebody's gotta write about them, no? |
4. Totaka's Song
I've researched it over the years. LEAVE ME ALONE! |
5. Ufouria: The Saga
Ufouria is a pretty fun NES game that's still pretty playable in this day and age. My familiarity lies with the Japanese version, Hebereke, although my understanding is that none of the changes were terribly drastic, so I just wrote based on what I knew would almost certainly apply to both versions. |
6. I Am A Teacher: Super Mario no Sweater
I really don't know what I have to say for myself. I put way more work into this than I probably should have. It is, after all, a sweater-designing program at its core. |
7. Arm Wrestling
Apparently this is a part of the phase where I slightly flesh out weird Nintendo releases? Yay? |
8. Insurrection: Campaigns for StarCraft
Man, should I really be wanting credit for even writing an overview for this thing? |
9. Yoshi's Story
I didn't author the opening portions of the article, although I did flesh out the game's oddball history when it comes to collectors and actual development. A dubious distinction on my part, since I'm not overly fond of the actual game itself. |
10. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time / Master Quest
Hooray for covering lesser-loved Zelda games in somewhat great detail. I know too much about this release for my own good, it seems. |
11. Doshin the Giant
The game is certainly a quirky one and I had known about it for years. I managed to finally get a copy a few months ago and you know what? It wasn't really all that and a bag of chips. Yet for some reason, I wrote the entire article for it. Yep. |
12. Homeland
It's not terribly fleshed out at all, but when considering that the original article was devoid of any information at all, some tidbits are better than none at all. |
13. Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor
I didn't author the whole article, but I certainly fleshed out the gameplay section quite dramatically, if I do say so myself. |
14. Hummer
I didn't really author this one so much as just create a wiki for it after reading the Kotaku announcement, but I'll be damned if I don't say it's ironic for Sega to announce this sort of game given the current environmental politics. |
15. Ryotaro Dojima
Dojima is an interesting fellow and since I needed just one more article to write up in order to surpass the 5000 points barrier, he seemed like a good candidate for the job. |
16. Takeshi's Challenge
There's masochistic and then there's Takeshi's Challenge. I take some pride in authoring the contents of the article itself with the help of some outside sources, but I'm also saddened that my work is attached to Takeshi's Challenge, too. |
17. Japan
There's a lot you can say about Japan. For now, I'm just glad that the overview is longer than two sentences and describes more than just its geographic location and prominence in numerous game settings. |
18. Yukiko Amagi
Yukiko is one of my favorite characters out of an already outstanding cast in Persona 4, so it was naturally a pleasure to write her article. |
19. Junes
Not too terribly much to write about, but some information is better than none if I happen to know about the topic, no? |
20. Famicom Disk System
I know things about foreign add-ons, apparently. |
21. Porting
More fun when it comes to describing the technical stuff! |
22. Midnight Channel
I love Persona 4, so it's only fitting that I should write up a fairly lengthy article about one of the most important locations in the game. |
23. Emulation
I like to think my experience in underground circles has enlightened me about this topic a bit. |
24. Sonic Eraser
WHY DID I CHOOSE TO DO THIS ONE!? |
25. English of the Dead |
26. Tohru Adachi
Up until the end, for obvious reasons, Adachi was one of my favorite minor characters from Persona 4. I'm thusly glad I had the pleasure of fleshing out his article quite a bit. |
27. Segata Sanshirou Shinken Yuugi
Segata Sanshriou is a pretty infamous character for those who know their retro game ads, but relatively few know that he actually had his own game to boot, too. Not exactly the greatest minigame collection by any means, but since this is dear old Segata, it deserves some space on this site. |
28. Segata Sanshirou
Dude, I wrote plot summaries for all of the Segata Sanshirou ads on this page. THAT'S HOW SERIOUS I TOOK THAT ARTICLE. |
29. Rakugaki Showtime
Well after a year since the site's inception, I came upon this game's page to see that it was still almost exactly as I had left it: completely barren. Save for the addition of release data for the PlayStation Network version, the game had nothing new on its page whatsoever. The screenshots I had uploaded a year ago were still there. The blurb was still exactly the same. Everything was eerily consistent with what I remembered. And so, even though I only managed to eke out an overview of this writing, I took it upon myself to give the game some love. It really, really deserves it. |
