Maybe someone can help me understand. A person(s) (not employed by an official gaming media outlet like IGN, Gamespot, Kotaku, Gametrailers, or Giantbomb) uses copyright content to discuss/play and post on a media streaming website. In the process of doing this, the popularity of the streaming website operated by the person makes a profit (mostly due to the content displayed). The companies that own this content request to have their legally owned content (property) removed from the person(s) media streaming website because it was not authorized by the company who owns it. The removal of the content limits and or stops profits from being received by the person(s) who uploaded it to their media streaming website. Do I have a full understanding of what happened? If so, what's the problem?
Is the problem the response people have been saying about what happened or the actions taken by YouTube?
