Thanks for an awesome article @patrickklepek. It really hit home for me too. I had heard about the guys talk about this game a few times on the bombcast and had been meaning to check it out for a while. so, with the link in the article, i finally went and played through the story.

All i can say about the game is...wow. I can't believe how much of myself I saw in that game. i felt like the game was being written about me and my struggles. i've struggled for about 5 years now with depression and i feel as thought i've been in so many of those situations that the main character finds himself in. the socially awkward moments, the overwhelming feelings of hatred of myself, the mental and physical exhaustion, the negative loops, and the overwhelming force of negativity in my life. i feel like i was presented a lot of the same choices i faced in my own life when i was struggling with this illness. i've played through it several times now and each time come face to face with a demon that i struggle(d) with.

I hope that those who come to this game truly take the time to really absorb the realities of this game and how depression really does affect those who suffer from it. I think it's a great window into the mindset and the decision making process that those who suffer from depression and how we come to the ideas and decisions that we do.

it sounds interesting...batman before he was really Batman. could be really cool depending on the direction that they take. i've loved both arkham games so far, and i wouldn't be opposed to someone new stepping in and shaking things up...

I think everyone working for Giant Bomb is also a little busy working to make the best fucking site possible for the Bombadiers. Also, they're a little busy running a business, it's not like they have time to just surf the forums for hours on end. wait, i should probably be doing that as well...back to IEPs. yay....

I'm doing the insanity program...it's one helluva workout. kicks my ass almost everytime...i'm about halfway through the program. anyone else tried it?

The Bombcast, Comedy Button, CarTalk, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, This American Life. I used to listen to the Adam Carolla show, but kinda fell off that wagon. I loved GameScoop and the Knockin' Boots, and RebelFM podcasts but i haven't listened to those in quite a while. I loved Three Red Lights but sadly, it changed...

A Song of Ice and Fire isn't your normal fantasy type story with magic, fairies, ogres, etc. It's a much more realistic take on the genre and one that I got sucked into almost immediately after reading the prologue of the first novel. It's much more focused on the relationships of the characters, the politics of medieval type kingdoms, and how different classes are looked upon by those higher up. Such a great series...I'm just praying he finishes it!!! (fingers crossed)

i would love to see tehchich's made but i had to vote for sexytoad. i love space exploration games.

i think a-10 would be nerve racking but kind of cool. how far do i have to fly it? can i just take off and land? or do i have to do a bombing run?
