Re-release = Insta-buy

Games from my past that I can remember absolutely loving and would not hesitate to shove money at the nearest receptacle that would give me an re-release on the 360 including achievements and maybe some updated graphics. Inspired by all the remakes/re-releases and HD packages appearing lately.

List items

  • This was another early computer game which I absolutely loved. It was made better by the fact my dad had set up a network so me and my brothers could play multiplayer and slaughter each other with echidnas.

  • This probably was my first computer game experience and I dominated the shit out of those nursery rhymes.

  • They should pack all the Keen adventures together and release them on the marketplace, I'd be all over that like aliens on a babysitter.

  • 2 and 3 are on the 360, my OCD would love it if the first was available to play there too. My disc scratched about 3/4ths through the game on the original Xbox so I was devastated that I could never actually finish this great game.

  • Enjoyed this on the PC when it first came out but never finished it. Imagine if they put this out on Xbox with Kinect integration. I can't wait to sucker punch my cow for shitting on a villager. They even had gesture based magic spells in the original.

  • The first two are on the marketplace, just a matter of time before this one arrives hopefully. This was my introduction to the monkey-verse, I never even knew of the previous games until much later.

  • My all time favorite master system game, I played this so many times I could guarantee I'd make it to the brown castle but never could manage to get through.

  • Most of the Alex Kidd games were decent to great but this has to be a highlight. Enjoyed this one nearly as much as Miracle World.

  • Wonder Boy captured my attention for quite a while. I don't know how long the game is but I remember getting past level 100 and still not seeming to be anywhere close to finishing it. No saves and no continues I was eventually forced to turn it off and never had the heart to put all that time back in.

  • Monster Land is where it's at, don't let anyone tell you different. Fuck Monster World.
