I bought this to play at work while I had some off time, and actually found myself playing it more at home after work. Very solid transition of this series to a hand held. Graphics, sound, music, controls, enemies, and quick time events translated to the PSP very well by ReadyAtDawn. The only problem I had was the story, but if you're playing GoW for the story, you're in it for the wrong reasons. I'll consider this game retired now since I've gone through all the difficulty levels, and unlocked all the bonus content. That alone should show how good this game is if I'm willing to bust my head through God level difficulty, and not put it down.
--DONE--
If you ever want to feel stupid...play this game. I'm enjoying it so far for what it is. It's kind of a nice transition from God of War that I just finished. This one I'm just looking to complete, and I'll be satisfied enough. I'm about halfway through it right now, and should be done with it within the week depending on how my work schedule is.
It only took one night of playing with my bro-in-law to run out the next day, buy the game and a 12 month card, and start playing on live again. Best multiplayer experience I've had in a long time. We're currently running with our 3-4 man team achievement hunting, and slowly working through difficulty levels.
Very rarely do I get addicted to a hand held, but this one has taken hold of me since I bought it and never let go. Really gives SotN a run for it's money as the best Castlevania ever in my opinion. Almost reached 100% completion, and I'm considering a speed run after that.
100% - Dont
Speed Run - Under Way.
Always playing...always raiding...
I'm the crazy person in this world that just can't get hooked on this game, but I'm slowly working my way through it. Due to my OCD 100% completion perfectionist personality, open ended games intimidate me very much. It doesn't mean I don't enjoy them, but it does mean that I'm constantly afraid I'm missing something....
