These games were played during the calendar year 2011, but for one reason or another I did not finish their single-player component. Possibly because they don't have a significant single-player campaign, the campaign does not have an end, or I just didn't want to.
The comments should expand upon this. Hopefully most games on this list end up on the Games I Finished In 2011 list in short order.
Listed approximately in the order I started them.
Android - Tons of value with just the demo version. If there was an Android game I'd buy it would probably be this.
Android - More Angry Birds. Yay!
Android - Okay, burned out of Angry Birds.
PC - I help make this game awesome.
PS3 - Didn't feel like grinding a crapload of hours, but I enjoyed playing online multiplayer with a friend.
PS3 - Thought my wife would enjoy it more than she did.
PC - Can't really finish this, can you?
360 - I don't think I can consider this winnable.
360 - See 'Scene It'.
PC - Didn't really grab hold of me, but I'd like to try it again.
DS - My wife and I were slowly making our way through this but it just couldn't hold our attention. The series just has some annoying conventions.
PC - Extremely frustrating controls.
PC - Played during the free weekend on Steam. It was good but I didn't feel like spending money on another game with the rest of this list looking at me.
PS3 - Downloaded the 1-hour demo during my PSN month. Felt like more God of War -- not awful, but I had other things to play.
PS3 - Played the demo -- nice, funny game but a little annoying at times. I might try it again later.
360 - Addicting, frustrating, visually awesome. I keep getting better every time I load it up. I'm never going to S-rank this thing, so unwinnable in my book.
360 - See above.
360 - Played the demo. Kind of cool, but a little confusing during the tutorial which didn't signal well towards me buying it.
360 - I just couldn't get into it. I played about 10 hours and then quit. I love Bioware games but I think this one wasn't my style -- also the first one I can recall playing on a console, so that could have contributed.
PC - Started playing this with my wife, and while I liked it the in-your-face nature of the premium content became an extreme turn-off. Still think it's a great free-to-play idea but they need to handle it with a gentler hand.
360 - Tried the demo, might buy it later.

360 - Got hooked on the demo -- dead simple gameplay but it hits the right hooks on addictive RPG quality. Couldn't finish the single player campaign, it got pretty repetitive.
PC - A little rough in a lot of places.
Android - Did not really wow me like I expected it to.
360 - Played it from my friend's Xbox Live Arcade Compilation Disc. Neat, but not for long.

360 - Silly and annoying. But free is good.
360 - Love the art, but the game is a little easy. I'm aiming to finish it though.
PC - Beta. Fun!
PC - Man, I swear I tried. The game is just suffering from other shooters doing everything better than it. I got caught in several situations where I was put in an unwinnable situation with no explanation as to why.
PC - Interesting game - still playing.
360 - Lots of recommendations on this, still at the beginning.
PC - Starter Edition. Good enough, but I don't see myself trying a lot of multiplayer so dropping $50-$60 just for the single player campaign seems crazy.
Android - Got it for 10c during the Android Market sale. Sort of impressed, but not engaged yet...
PC - Played it a lot during the pre-release Early Access period because I had received it as an early Christmas present. Have not played a single second of it since it was officially released...
