@radar5: No harm done. It took a few seconds. F5 does wonders with a decent connection.

I looked through as many help threads as I could. Just all of the clues are not matching the missing entries. I would see someone say the clue for number 3 is "blah blah blah" and it totally matches number 5. Things like that. All of the decent help threads for that quest are a bit old and I figure the numbering may have changed. So if I could get some help that would be great. Also the clues I saw were fairly obscure to me so any new hints are greatly appreciated.

I currently need:
#3 for The Bombcast of Characters
#4 and #6 for Theater of the Absurd

Appreciate the help. Whoever gives me a clue that helps me, I will follow them... or if that does not interest you... I can find some lolcatz or something for your time.

@Mrnitropb: It seems as if when those testers sent their info back, the designers claimed it was done on purpose for difficulty. Imagine how much easier it would be if you could walk through a pile of rubble without being scared that you may get your foot caught forever.

Just read over all the replies. I must admit the results seem to be a ruling of, you love it or hate it. Seems like the kind of job that isn't for a lot of people and can actually be worth it for some. Money isn't exactly a problem seeing as I am working for the demon of game sales, GameStop, and I get next to nothing for hours and minimum wage. I guess it is really a matter of trying it out for myself and seeing how things go. I have been content doing bitch work in other areas of work. Also I have a theory that after a long day of playing games I don't want to play, or doing repetitive crap, I would enjoy sitting down and enjoying a game that I can play. But this now makes me wish more companies would give Orlando some love and open up some more studios here.

@W0lfbl1tzers: I hear ya. I just get sick and tired of people online checking for grammar. As if these people just patrol the forums like some sort of English super hero...

@iam3green: Sure what were you wanting to know? I can help you out as far as general tips, but for specific drop locations and mobs, they have changed so much since then. This was 2 years ago and the fine folks at Blizzard are aware of when a drop is being exploited so they change drop rates or mob frequencies on things like that.
As far as more details go, they had me set up a PayPal account for my payment. I was paid as if I were selling my time like an item. I would essentially sell them hours of my time through a "shop" they set up for me on a server they hosted. I had an account that I had to sign into and use to grind gear. It used to be an elite mob run that I had to perform. I would basically go from one area to the next along specific routes to hunt for rare mobs on my list. I would kill and sell the loot. I had a set list of what everything sold for. I HAD to follow the pricing for AH. And the only way I could sell anything through trade was if someone was offering more, than my base price for an item I had, in trade chat. At which point I would PM the buyer, tell him I would contact him from an alt and use a lvl 1 alt to trade the item. I would get a new account to use everyday unless I pulled an all nighter and worked through the day. Every account had 1 epic geared toon and 10 alts from lvls 1-50. Sometimes we would use the alts for specific tasks. Everytime I logged on I would have 500G to start with for repairs. There were a few times I had signed on to find that I was actually leveling a toon all day. I would be set with a task (get to lvl ___) and I would work on that character until I reached the goal. They paid me a base price to achieve the task and I got a bonus for whatever gold I collected on the side in the form of minutes taken off of my next hour worked.
There were so many things about working for them that felt so ritual and lifeless. But I made decent money doing it. I got paid $5 every hour that I worked for them. I would make about 2kG an hour which they sold for about $15 on some servers. The thing is I wouldn't make any gold until the items sold. It was all about timing. I tried to make the most gold I could while leveling since it paid better. Just all sorts of little tricks for when you don't care about chatting or progressing skills. You just want to get paid.

Anyone done this as a job? I know it is nowhere as glamorous as Grandma's Boy makes it seem (I would love to work with Nick Swardson). I live in Orlando and EA has a branch down here , Tiburon, that makes the Madden series and soon to be in charge of the NBA Elite series. They have also been used to test a few titles like Dead Space and Army of Two. My main question is if anyone has gotten a chance to work as a tester and actually make a living on it. Down here the company pays peanuts to the new hires and very few people last long enough to make decent money.

Also I would like to ask if it has ruined the way you play games, or changed the way you view a specific title that you have worked on. I outsourced my time to a Chinese company that was farming gold in WoW... worst job I ever had. They had me download an add-on that essentially sent them all my data as far as what I was doing in game, and they sent me a list. It was very rudimentary, go to location A, kill mob 34 until you get ______. Sell ______ for XXg on auction house and repeat. It was so mundane and repetitive that it ruined how I played my personal account. It was horrible.

Oh and feel free to offer any extra info you may have or feel is helpful. Appreciate it.

@kmg90: Precisely. What gets me the most about it is how it is so easily done. I wish they hired people like us to play test games. Instead they have people do mundane tasks like run against a wall for an hour and try to get stuck. Which is needed.... But stuff like this just passes by without a second thought.

@sixpin: There are so many bugs. I actually found an infinite cap glitch in the casino in Primm. You can keep trading your chips in for caps, but he never actually takes them. So you keep getting caps. But I only did it once or twice to make sure it was happening. I don't need the glitch since my luck is 10. So I can walk into a casino with 500 caps and walk out with 5000.

EDIT: umm I will stop derailing.....

There are a lot less of them in New Vegas than there were in 3. With all of the new crafted items and various needs for many items, it has really made me start thinking about picking up a lot more things. I used to ignore everything that wasn't on my set list of "stuff to loot". Now I pick up everything at least once.

One thing I have found to be quite useless and also superglued to the bottom of your backpack is the Rocket Souvenirs... I have 157 of them for ever. I cannot sell them, drop them, nothing. I would love to have them just sitting on shelves in my homes... But it seems I will have them for life.
