I personally find the Polygon website to be a design mess, it's impossible to get a proper overview of what the fuck is going on most of the time.
Also not a fan of the crew working there, some of them I've listened to on other podcasts in the past and I find them to be hard listen to and several of them spew out "facts" about stuff when they have no idea what they are talking about.
I hate the taste of beer even though I have on several occasions tried to get used to it. It just tastes horrendous to me, regardless of brand etc. When I get drinks it's usually either some cider (Strongbow, Aspall or Magners/Bulmers) or some nice wine. Not a fan of shots or really strong stuff either since I generally don't drink "to get drunk", too old for that shit. Although a mojito or a simple gin/tonic now and again is alright :)
Will be a mixture for me. Mainly considering the size of some of those downloads and the fact that it only comes with a 500gb hard drive. I will probably upgrade it at some point though, so will have to see.
As a huuuuuuge Myst fan, especially the original and it's sequel Riven I almost can't contain my excitement for this! Five days in and they are at 46%, so it looks like they probably will reach their goal :) Schweeet!
Yeah, several games up through the years. Off the top of my head:
- Zelda - A Link to the Past
- Zelda - Link's Awakening
- Final Fantasy VII
- Assassins Creed 2
- Fallout 3
- Fallout - New Vegas
- Shadow of the Damned
- Silent Hill 2
- Silent Hill 3
- Virtues Last Reward
- Resident Evil (original)
- Resident Evil 4
- Resident Evil 5
- Super Mario World
..and probably a bunch of other ones, in fact, I'm going through the whole Mass Effect series again from scratch now to get and see everything, so I can probably throw those on the list at some point :)
Generally if I really, really enjoy a game I will scan through everything in the game at some point :)
The d-pad on the new xbox pad is definitely an improvement, to the point where I think it's probably fine for most people. Is it as good as Nintendo or Sony's d-pad... hmm.. not sure, I would need to spend more time with the controller to find out. Got to say though... that PS4 controller is mighty fine. Tried it at TGS and it felt super snug in my hands and the buttons and sticks have been much improved :)
