The Evil Within. Currently playing this and think it's a great survival horror game. That's why my biggest gripe with it is when it suddenly wants to be an action game for a little bit midway through.

My issue is less that they copied the Battle Royal mode during it's popularity, but it's that they so quickly abandoned their original idea. As someone who was pretty excited for what Fortnite was offering originally, it disappoints me to see them pivot so drastically to focus on a game type I have grown to not care for. Just shows how little faith they had in their original vision in the first place, but I understand going where the money is good. The same thing happened to me with H1Z1. I was pretty pumped for H1Z1 because it seemed like they were going to do DayZ the right way, but then after their Battle Royal mode took off, they pretty much abandoned the Survival mode. Just leaves a bad impression when a developer is so quick to abandon their original ideas for something arguably less interesting (to me).

That sucks. Hawken is a great game that unfortunately didn't gain enough traction. I'm glad I was at least able to play a good amount of it early on when the player count was decent.

I think it looks cool and I'm for anything Shadow of the Colossus related. Played through the original PS2 game numerous times and recently played through the PS3 version. Only thing I am going to say though is I hope they fix the balance bug from the PS3 version. I'm not sure if this is an actual bug, but I swear the main character in the PS3 version could not keep his balance for more then a second. It made some of the colossi unnecessarily difficult. And I have played the PS2 version enough times to know it was not originally like that..... I think. I'm pretty sure.

Buying The Incredible Hulk for Xbox 360 (the movie game) and realizing the horrible mistake I had made. My expectations might have been set a little too high after playing The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction on PS2, but wow, that 360 game was really terrible. Ultimate Destruction is how you make a good Hulk game! That experience was what pushed me to start really researching games before I make a purchase.

Never mind. While giantbomb.com/api still tells me my key is blocked every time after I make a request, I am still able to make the request and get the data. So, I'm not sure what is going on with that. Nevertheless, my issue turned out to be that my app was not ready for the SSL change. I thought I was blocked because my app was retrieving data just fine a couple days ago and then suddenly stopped working. I thought it would have been able to survive the SSL change.

All is good for me now though. Thank you!
