This bad boy sat at number one since the second it hit the tray. Definitely takes me "story of the year", "cast of the year", "horses of all time" and litany of other award type statements but playing it again between Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and Just Cause 2 really exposed the gameplay faults in RDR.

Bigger, better and more. Sure maybe it's a bit of a reskin but I'll be damned if I didn't pop that game back in and instantly remember every nuance of the incredible controls of AC2.

The only game in my Top 10 that I haven't beat but I'm more than far enough and had more than enough fun to know that even a disastrous ending wouldn't change things.

I'm not putting this here cause "it works" or "it surprised me" I'm putting it here because I played it non-stop for two weeks and since then I play at least a few songs a week, play it every time I've had a few and watched my whole family dance and laugh their heads off Christmas day when they came over to my place.
