Writing a blog entry.

I've never been one for writing blogs, but I'll try, I guess! I've been on the Bomb for about a week now, and it's been a good time so far! I try my best to keep up with the latest video games, even though technically my newest console is my trusty Nintendo 64. However, in college,  I have access to two Wii's, a XBox 360, and a PS3, so I have had my fair share of  "current-gen" exposure. However, I also stick to my roots, owning two 2600's, a 7800, a ColecoVision, an NES, a recently acquired SNES, a GameGear... I'm guess I'm still hip to the now, but I have a soft spot for the old-school simplicity too. I can be just as happy playing a game of Surround (a 2600 game, think Light Cycles in Tron, kinda) as I am a game of Halo 3.

My first week here has been good! Getting through the moderation phase, past that 1000 number was tough. Not being able to immediately see the results of my postings, or even know if they were in vein, was kinda scary, but then once I got past 1000 I rocketed up pretty fast. I past 5000 yesterday, and posted my first page, for the character Asterix. I plan to add a lot of Arcade Games if I can, since there aren't very many in the database, though thousands exist.
I also plan to write some summaries of games I play a lot, since some don't have summaries yet, but so far I haven't been able to make one work. I'm sure once I get that first one out though, they'll start flowing easier.
I'm glad I joined this site pretty early, it really makes me feel like I'm part of the greater community, even if I only have 6 friends or so so far. ;)
Alright, I think I've failed this blog thing long enough.
