Played about 3 hours of the game last night. In terms on how it looks, it looks like a slightly upgraded version of SR3. A lot of stuff is recycled like the character portraits and the layout of the Steelport is pretty much identical to it's predecessor. It's definitely more way over the top then SR3 (from what I've played in the first 3 hours). I thought I was going to hate the super powers but there actually fun to use. Overall, I'm liking it so far. The intro/opening...Great!
Been a big fan of the core group since their gamespot days, still depressed after hearing the sad news yesterday. Still wishing this was all a bad dream after I woke up today. Giantbomb has been a big part of my life these past few years and I thank Ryan and they guys for that. Definitely going to miss hearing Ryan's voice on the podcast and watching his shenanigans on the site. Thank you for everything Ryan, you will be missed!
I'll say this, I'm not going to knock on the xbox one cause I'm know it'll appeal to a certain crowd. The think is it's just not the console for me. Microsoft on the other hand has just been shooting themselves in the foot lately and the recent interview with Don Mattrick were he says "no internet, get an 360" has pissed off a lot of people I know. Anyways, whether if this is true or not..its just funny how this is just making them look desperate as hell if they feel the need to do this.
