You probably can tell but I'm so not into today's mainstream music. I'm super old skool; I love bands that play real instruments with real organic sounds. Heavy Metal is my jam but quite recently I've developed a strong taste for Industrial music, which is why Godflesh is on top of the list. Newcomers may find its unconventional songs very odd but I love the intensity of it mixed with the band's signature bass sound. It's almost like a soundtrack to a movie or video game.
Besides Metal and Rock, I also enjoy something a little softer like the legendary Mike Oldfield and super underrated Noveller. Waveshaper is pretty cool too with its homage to retro synthwave sound of the 80's.
Let me know what your favorite 2017 albums here in this forum.

@trillian: The description about band members being put in a glass tube reminds me of Megadeth's Hangar 18 music video but I'm sure that's not what you're looking for. Sorry but I don't recall seeing a video like that. It'd be best if you can describe more and what else you can recall. Is it Nu Metal or Classic Metal? Did it involve rapping? Was it in a sci-fi situation?
Despite spending the last hour and a half battling with drivers and game settings and config files (and deleting them, as is is suggested by a thread made by one of the devs!), my game continues to crash (reliably) whenever I try to initiate a load during the "Find [Crewmember]" mission, and (randomly) whenever I open up the pause menu. it also crashes whenever there is a notification in the background, or even when my Night Light turns on at its scheduled time. I can't even alt-tab without a crash. All of these issues require a hard reset.
No modern game should be this unstable on common, recent hardware. I have loved the game up until this point, random crashes and all 12 hours in, but now I literally cannot continue playing. It sucks to say, but this game has issues. If you're thinking of buying on the PC, at least with an Nvidia 10-series card, hold off for now.
I'm sorry you had trouble with the game. I did have trouble playing Wolfenstein II TNC at first; it got stuck a few times but after I updated my NVIDIA graphics card, it got better. Also it helps to have a MSi laptop that's built for gaming.
Gordon Freeman. I like the games but I find him to be extremely overrated. People often praise him for all the wrong reasons. I'm also not a fan of silent protagonists. In most games it's fine but in a well known series with a protagonist that has a face and history, you'd think he started speaking by now. Maybe he was supposed to in Half-Life 3 but I guess we'll never know.
The site needs some non-American mods cause they're all asleep right now.
Non-American mod here. I just woke up and deleted all of the spam.
The engineers are aware and working on a solution. Some changes were recently made to the site's automatic spam filter that has let these slip past, but they're aware and hopefully should have something sorted before too long.
