  • Arkham Asylum is the absolute best Batman game to date. Way better than Dark Tomorrow by a million miles :p. The moment I started playing it I had this sudden rush of adrenaline flowing through my veins. The attention to detail in everything was well executed- from the combat system to the environments, the storyline, and the audio, it is a complete package from beginning to end. You can tell Rocksteady is a big fan of the Batman franchise as much as I am because the way they handle its source material. Every nook and cranny in the demented asylum is brimming with contents from the comic books and it is all well put together.

It is a dream come true for a Batman fan like me, and that is why Batman: Arkham Asylum is my pick for 2009's Game of The Year.

  • The best Uncharted game in the series.

  • A vast improvement over the last game. Assassin's Creed II is more story-focused and has plenty of missions and quests to complete. I couldn't stop playing!

  • It's a Ghostbusters fan's dream come true. I've been waiting for a sequel for so long. I don't care what anyone says but Ghostbusters: The Video Game is a remarkable game. Co-creators Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis wrote the story based on the idea that they had about making a third Ghostbusters film which never came true but 20 years later after the the second film, the official sequel is released as a video game. How cool is that? The attention to detail in this game is absolutely phenomenal and I had a fun time walking around at the Firehouse, busting ghosts with the original crew and kickin' that ever-so-annoying Walter Peck's ass. I finished the game three times already and I'm still hungry for more. Let's just hope that the real Ghostbusters 3 sequel will come true in cinemas soon.

  • Why people bad mouth this game? The latest Wolfenstein is a mindblowing game. Despite what others have said about it looking outdated, the id Tech 4 engine still looks great. Stepping into the shoes of B.J. Blazkowicz once again never gets old especially with the new enhancements in the game. The various missions are so exciting and the weapons you get to wield are fun to play with. Wolfenstein is not a disappointment.

  • I wasn't expecting Extraction to be good of a game but I was wrong. It's a great addition to the series and a fun game for the Wii.

  • This ambitious game of Tim Schafer's didn't please me at first for its awkward RPG integration. I found the controls to be extremely confusing and misplaced and so I sort of condemned Schafer for disappointing me. However, after playing it two year later, the controls finally made sense and I began to love the game. Brutal Legend has grown on me now and I can safely say that this is one of the most creative games ever made in recent years.

  • I have to admit, I was a little skeptical at first about Left 4 Dead 2 not being able to live up to its name... but I was wrong. Number 2 is damn good. What makes L4D2 incredibly satisfying is the ability to use melee attack with an electric guitar, katana blade, baseball bat and a frying pan.
