Yet its funny the party line is gun control and "think of the children!" yet they support abortion. Funny innit? Just how the Republican party line is pro-life and yet they support the death penalty. Shouldn't all life be sacred, regardless of circumstances? Be consistent dammit!

Full disclosure: Im pro-choice but am in favor of renaming it "baby termination". The different labels it has gotten obfuscate and distance people from what it actually is.

Met a bunch of horror actors when I used to help a friend at his comic boot at several cons over the years. Danielle Harris is adorable in real life as she is in movies. Michael Madsen is a hardcore drunk. Coolest dude was Robers Kurtzman (KNB Effects). Had pizza with him and his crew and told him Wishmaster was one of the greats and he told me to fuck off. :) Oh and Macho Man babysat me years ago.

P.S. Never ever wait in line for an autograph. Its tacky.

He said The Walking Dead tv show wasn't that good.

He also said the comic wasn't any good, after admitting to only reading a little ways into it. Seems like a silly thing to say when you've barely read any of it. He's prone to using hyperbole way too casually. How many times have you heard him say on the podcast "this game is trash/garbage/etc."? It's nonsense and borderline unprofessional.

Is it ok for me to say I think the WD is garbage because the writer of it is a colossal douche?

Breaking down video game tropes isnt going to help. No one likes to lectured at and I dont believe that it will change anyones mind to preach at them. I believe to get a more feminine slant to this industry people like Anita need to start encouraging females to educate themselves in computer programming. Its mostly a male dominated area of education, but Anita, and those like her, could help break the stigma that goes with being a "computer nerd". More female programmers = more females working on games from the ground up = a better representation of females in games..

Im with you there. Its was super odd for years hearing NO mention of GameSpot in videos or the podcast, then all of a sudden they are best buddies. I understand that management has changed but I will always be suspect of how things are run at GS. Also the old time GS staff will never earn my respect. After the K&L issue, several people just said "fuck this" and quit. They saw something shitty and left to roll the dice and take a chance with a friend that had been wronged. The people that stayed, misty eyed goodbyes non-withstanding, only seemed to subtly condone what happened by staying.

While not really relevant to MGS, the guys had posted the Lost and Damned Quick Look on the beta site, but it seems to have been taken down, again.

Good thing I saved a copy of it to my HDD. They can never take it away from me!

Why was it taken down?

I believe it was an issue of Rockstar not wanting cutscene footage being shown. I think.
