No modern bullshit here: only two screens in a very good use for orthodox 2D side-scrolling gameplay! Plus two unlockable NES Contra games as a bonus. 10/10

Nice graphics that are faithful to Donkey Kong Country on SNES but an innovative control scheme with shoulder buttons for swinging. Difficulty level is high. 9/10

Basically great 2D platforming just like back in the good old days. That is why I was a little bit disappointed: levels and enemies repeat themselves a lot. You even fight the same dragon as a boss after every level! Still a must-have for fans of the genre. 7/10

Though an impressive conversion with some bonus content, this one is just not my favourite Super Mario game. 7/10.

A somewhat promising platformer that is mostly ruined by bad DS Stylus controls and boring boss battles. 5/10
