Meh...achieves give many people a reason to replay games and see every bit of game content. Serves a purpose for game developers as well as gamers.They're there to add a bit of extra motivation and that's what they do. They also indicate how much someone played or perhaps really liked a certain game. I look at them to find common ground and opportunities to play with friends.

More points now for small games is a total non-issue for me.

Achievements for watching shows, movies, or using an app is a whole other story. But those don't add to Gamerscore at least as far as I know.

Gameplay for me predominately, but I tend to really fall in love with a game that has a good story, hence my choice of depends on the game. Maybe it's because really good storytelling is too rare in video games in general. On the flip side a good story doesn't make up for poor to middling gameplay either, which was my main problem w/The Walking Dead for instance.

Well it's amazing. Forza 5 is very good.

I can see the hooks in almost all these games. Reasons why some people really enjoy them I can clearly see. Game are the subjective.

The only game I can't get any of that from is Papers, please. What is the motivation other than denying people freedom who deserve it or to be an anarchist? Like the guy who had it as his only game(ten times :/). He admitted it allowed him to troll to his heart's content.

Ahhhhh.... I guess that's some people's guilty pleasure.

None of the MS pubbed games are near as bad about micros as some would have others believe.

I have and play Forza 5, Powerstar Golf, and Ryse, and micros are there if you look but not any more obnoxiously than the other 3rd party games.

Forza does have a reminder message about increased lvling speed, and two buttons on one screen for that option, and I agree that is too much, but Turn 10 has reacted quickly and given everyone cars and tons of in game credits to make cash purchases very superfluous too.

Playing Brothers now and it's pretty good. Get it while it's cheap. Only other two I played on your list are Dust and Lara Croft: GoL. Both are very good and I recommend them too.

Pretty much exact same here. BF4 for mp(so fucking great when it's working as intended)and some Powerstar Golf sprinkled in. Just haven't been able to stick with the other stuff. It's no big as I have a huge backlog on 360 and the sales right now are really timely. Got both Bioshock Infinite and Brothers for cheap.

But yeah, can't wait for that big, deep rpg to really sink my teeth into as well. And btw, what are we waiting for TC on that front? :P
