@xxNBxx: Check out MaximumPC.com they have an article about their 2009 Dream Machine. They actually built three machines with a real budget. You should be able to get some good idea's from them.
Yep I definately changed it. The new tag is QuattroRS8 the old one was QuattroRS6. The old one still has a version that was associated with a different email and my pc games at the time. QuattroRS8 is the one for my 360 that i use for everything now. It is a weird problem. I imagine it's something on MS end having to do with the change.
Are you upgrading to game and for personal use or for the development work? That will make a difference in what you should get. Also as Hamlaser said budget is important info too.
Netbook goes to S3 Sleep. Desktop gets shutdown because it would wake up from S3 and the mouse and KB wouldnt work and I didnt want to spend hours/days figuring out how to fix it.
If you want something thats more affordable go with a GTX 260 or a GTX 275.. The 200 series is way better then the 9 series. Definately get a larger power supply too.
PSU's: That is 600-700 watt PSU's(i use a 750watt for a GTX 295 http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2010320058%20113142557&name=601%20-%20700W
So I changed my gamertag like 3 weeks ago and now it just will not grab the new one. Not sure why. I have tried the faqs and suggestions of others. Anyone else change their gamertag and have a similar problem. I just keep getting a message that that account does not exist and it definately does.
