@QuistisTrepe: Are you saying Squaresoft never had any good games/glory days or Square-Enix never had any good games/glory days?

No, just SE. SE isn't necessarily terrible, but they're without question IMO a second tier developer. Come to think of it, ENIX was better off before the merger as well. I remember how their games like Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile pushed the envelope in the 32-bit days. I look at what has become of both companies now and it makes an older gamer like myself shake my head and wonder how the mighty have fallen.

How about that game I posted? Or the Dragon Quest stuff? Or Kingdom Hearts? Or Final Fantasy XIII? Or some other games I could name?

Dragon Quest has never been cool (for the most part, though again nostalgia), Kingdom Hearts would be awesome except that I'm not 14 or a Disney fan, and FF lost me years ago. Might give XIII a try someday.

The indoctrination theory doesn't seem to have a leg to stand on, but I do find it odd that Shepard does in fact seem dead before he can reach the console to open the Citadel arms what with that hole in his side, if the explosion from the "destroy" option didn't finish him off on top of that.

I thought it was kind of a copout to make it look like Shepard somehow survived all of that.

I've just completed the game for the first time and I don't comprehend why the ending was in anyway controversial. It was perfectly fine.

They never had any glory days. Their merger has to be one of the all-time great busts in the gaming industry. Other than VP2, I can't think of anything else they've put out that's worth a damn.

Been playing through Parasite Eve, first time in over a decade. Remember when Square came out with good games? Nah, me neither. I'm getting an urge to play Valkyrie Profile 2 again after listening to the soundtrack. It's one of the very few games that Square-Enix hasn't completely shit on.

The side quests

I ended up doing every side quest in the game, and at some point they just become chores there is nothing interesting or fun about them, and the quest description doesn't even tell you WHERE to fetch the stuff at leading to me wandering around the galaxy finding places that I don't have 100% completion in and usually just finding fuel reserves that, for some reason are marked as valuable things in that system.

Why can't I bring Grunt or Wrex with me for the entire time?

This is really all I wanted, to have a Krogan constantly at my side along with Garrus.

I actually really enjoyed the game but, if they fixed these three things then the game would be almost perfect.

Yeah, the side quests felt so tacked on in ME3. The decision to cut Grunt as a playable character was a bit of a head scratcher given the events of ME2.

I would have liked ME3 better if not for the rampant glitches. I don't know if it's EA or Bioware, but somebody needs to do something about those fucked up servers of theirs. If you're going to insist upon tying multiplayer to single player, you'd best maintain your online interface. It's nearly been two weeks since the war map has displayed properly, at least on the PC version. All I see anymore is "System Offline."

Oh, and then there's the in game glitches. I shouldn't have to use the Gibbed save editor just to enable paragon choices when my rep meter is already maxed out. I won't spoil which one particular I'm talking about, but it is the final choice in the game before the ending.

No, they need to be completely demolished and redone from scratch.

The original Valkyrie Profile would be nice, but no way in hell that it would ever happen. Not that Square-Enix would get it right anyway.
