@MordeaniisChaos: Depending on the severity of PTSD, a number of triggers can "set the person off." In this case, when ArmA no longer has glaring presentation issues, could it potentially be too realistic for PTSD or war vets in general to play.

...and those [shooters] that claim to be “military simulators” don’t go far enough in presentation to risk freighting anyone.

So what would you say about something like ArmA 3? Obviously it's not out yet but with the presentation level of the series rapidly improving, I could see issues crop up (particularly PTSD related issues).

The epic knee kick at the end of the video really sells it.

Developers have to pay $100 to get into the IGF or even a one year licence to develop for iOS. Value for you money is pretty dang high even if you only get marketing without being greenlit.

I just hope he takes his time with the standalone. 1 million unique players have already played the mod so it's not like it's paramount that he get the product to market.

Because making something that wasn't popular to begin with more like everything else is a sure fire way to get more attention...

1) Make sequel stripped of all the features past fans liked

2) Use GWFL

3) Fail to advertise to supposed casual target audience

4) Get shut down

Surprised it took this long to be honest.

Meanwhile Valve lets people update their games as many times and as often as they want (within reason).

If I only copy and paste half the wikipedia article and then write the rest myself, it's not plagiarism because I clearly wrote half of it.
