not sure if this was addressed in the announcement (@work, so I can't spend too much time looking stuff up in the forums), but is this DLC meant to be played after you complete the game or before? I'm assuming afterward, given the content, but i'm curious just the same.

@dudy80: 9mm. Though I had purchased the gun right before obama came into office, reasoning that since 9mm is the most prolific ammo on the planet, it would remain plentiful and economic. but since he got voted in, many people stupidly thought he would "tax ammo" or "take our guns away forever" (becasue, you know, the president is like a king, and every whim he has becomes LAW) and started buying every box of 9 in sight. now I can't find 9mm anywhere except online. which brings in shipping costs, paypal, etc. pain in the ass. I haven't gone shooting in over a year because of it. but if you have a whole bunch of 9mm lying around, or know of a place that can keep it on the shelves for longer than 4 minutes, then by all means.

" @DoctorTran:  Yea, i have a 10/22 as well, was the first gun i bought actually and is still one of my favorite guns to shoot. I dont own a pistol yet myself but im considering getting a Springfield XD-M later this year. "
i have a springfield XD (hereafter referred to as "charlotte"), and besides being a fantastic pistol (can't recall ever having a jam or anything like that), it's logo also looks like a laughing face!

i have charlotte, and my wife has a .38+P and an over-under 20-gauge for AW-SKEE-SKEE-SKEEt shooting.

THUG was the last decent experience I had with the series. I have such fond memories too; creating a (grungy, asshat-looking, angsty teen) version of myself,  racking up huge scores, and landing crazy tricks. It was strangely therapeutic. I rarely even had to think about what I was doing.  It's a shame, because I'm really clamoring for a good skateboarding game these days. I was thinking of maybe picking up proving ground because it's the latest that didnt use awful peripherals. Though now I'm having a lot of second thoughts :\  I know a lot of people would suggest the SKATE series, but every time I tried the demos, I just loathed the gameplay. I hated everything about it.

I want more good tony hawk.

I'm a gun owner. I think that obtaining a gun, however, is a bit too easy. Especially in certain states, and especially in private sales. Background checks can be frightfully lax or skipped altogether in celebration of laziness or apathy. Is this always the case? not at all. While living in FL, in order to qualify for a conceal carry license, I had to fill out forms, provide my fingerprints for file with the FBI, and sit through a safety course. I would have liked to see this same process required for purchasing as well. I also would have a preferred a psychological profiling thrown in there.  the validity of one, though, is far from fool-proof itself. a person could lie, *act* normal during an interview, etc. all in a ploy to obtain a gun they already plan on using in a violent crime. People like that could easily slip through the cracks.

I don't believe banning guns will solve any kind of problem. It's too late for a solution like that to work at all. But if that was really and truly the law of this land, I would relinquish my firearm.

But i'm carrying a fucking sword around with me from then on.

fable II was instrumental in getting my wife more into gaming. Springing off of that I got her hooked on dragon age. occasionally we play sacred 2, and while we have marvel ultimate alliance as well, we haven't gotten around to it (it was 7 bucks, so w/e). we'd have more to do, but she struggles with FP perspective, which unfortunately cuts our choices down substantially. still tho, co-op play with the wife is 1 of the greatest experiences ever!

I say the same thing about the star wars prequels as I do the matrix sequels - "wow, those are some really well-produced fan films."

gather from that what you will.
