Favorite games, in no particular order.
I'll fill in the others later.
Simply put, a list of some of my favorite games, some old, most new. All great.

I'll admit, I have a certain attachment for open world games, and immediately upon hearing that this was set in the wild west and had tons to keep you playing I had to buy it. I was hooked.
This was probably my first RPG, and it was fantastic. Many memories dating back to 2001 enjoying this game for hours upon hours. Favorite battle system to date.
Simply an improvement upon the first, with more playable characters, djinn, and a whole new continent, many hours were sunk into this game as well.
As this game is known to be one of my contenders for Game of the Year 2011, I clearly like it a lot. From the fantastic characters, the animation, the storytelling, to everything else. I feel kind of bad for saying it, but this is probably my favorite DS game to date.
Although more of a movie than an actual game, I still thoroughly enjoyed this game and it's storytelling. Also had me on the edge of my seat through most of it, so to speak.
Another fairly recent game that I've come to adore. Now I'll admit, I did enjoy the first but I definitely didn't understand the unconditional love toward it. After playing this game through at least three times now, I definitely realize why, and now I'm off to play through the first again.
The improvements made from the first were so game-changing, and to me that was in a good way. I love the hell out of this game, and I can't wait for the story to be (hopefully) tied up in the third. Let's hope it doesn't turn out like DA2.
Having loved almost all of Valve's previous work and thoroughly enjoying the first Team Fortress, this Pixar inspired team based shooter has kept me playing for 400+ hours and that number is always increasing. Definitely my favorite game out of The Orange Box and probably my favorite shooter of all time. And I don't mind the hats.
Such a vast improvement over the first and simply put a stupid fun game with an abysmal story, but that's really not what you look for in a game like this. Oh, and as an added bonus on PC; absolutely insane mods.
I did enjoy the first game, but I'm quite the puss when it comes to scary moments in any type of entertainment so I had to put it down. This game; however, essentially made me shed that layer and I simply enjoyed it as a jumpy, intense, and fantastic action game. Although the ending I thought was kind of weak, I still enjoyed the game from beginning to end.
Improved AC2 when I didn't know that was possible, love this game, love the series, can't wait for the finale.
Anyone that knows me knows that I've never been a fan of hardcore stealth oriented games, so clearly, I would like this. Ditching the stealth for a more action oriented approach made this game a blast to play through beginning to end for someone like me, and the co-op was icing on the cake. And after playing through it as many times as I have, I'm starting to find stealth play a blast as well.
What's there to say that hasn't already been said, great story, characters, gameplay, voice acting, etc. Favorite game of 2008.
Never been too much of a fan of racing titles, but after watching trailer after trailer of this game and seeing that all types of players could enjoy it I jumped in and bought in. Never have I regretted that decision, an excellent game in every aspect.
Being a very big fan of RPG's in general and being a bit tired of the fantasy setting, this was a breath of fresh air. Although it is very much a game tailored for younglings, I loved it...and what that says about me, I'm not too sure.
Favorite superhero combined with an awesome combat system, amazing characters, audio logs, varied locations, gadgets, Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill? I'm in...but fuck Killer Croc, that dudes an asshole.
While the game certainly shines with co-op, this is another game that's RPG hooks got into me. Even if the final locations are a gigantic pain of the ass for next to no payoff, I still had a ton of fun playing this game and accruing it's loot, and the guns...oh the sweet, sweet guns.
At the time I loved this games combat, the shooting felt right, the melee combat was superb, and since I'm always a fan of character customization I loved it in that respect as well. Now only if the missions didn't get so cheap and frustrating.
Brought vocals and drums into the Guitar Hero formula flawlessly and had an amazing set list through and through. An amazing game with a gigantic box.
