So around 9 games (7 from insomniac and 2 from high impact) in, in the Ratchet and Clank universe and the space combat is still meh? Oh well, I'll be playing this one in a few days.

PSP hsa been getting good anouncemetns lately. Assassin's Creed Bloodline was revelaed and looks really good. Tekken 6, LittleBigPlanet PSP, Motorstorm Artic Ege, and no longer really make me feal like I regret my PSP purchase. Plsue there's a push for downloadable games now on the system.

I do not see myself buying the PSP Go anytime soon and am rather content with my current PSP. But I did have memory envy as the Go had 16gb of the bat. Given the fact thatI have been visiting and buying more downlaodble stuff on the PSN store, I needed to upgrade from my 4gb stick anyways. So, I went to amazon.com and found a pro duo adapter and two 8gb micro sd cards to plug into the adaptor, and now I have 16gb for under $35. Has anyone doen this? Does anyone know if two 16gb micro sd cards will work as well?

Remember that thing called HOME that Sony was touting since 2007?  Well, it continues to expand but I don't think much has changed other than more spaces. The Playstation.Blog has an post up with video on the Fight Night Round 4 and BUZZ spaces Check 'em out below.

If you want to be part of that 30$ of PS3 owners that visit HOME at least once, here's your chance.

IP.S.  think the Namco museum also comes out tomorrow.

Why do I keep up with this stuff?

Both Kotaku and Joystiq have reported that Eidos is planning to reinvigorate the Tomb Raider franchise.  This is probably the fourth reboot for the IP but I am not really counting.

Reports have it that the game may be more open world and delve more into the action-horror genre. Screenshots here.

Seriously, how many times has this franchise been rebooted?  And yes, she also appears to be getting a model makeover.

Via Joystiq: A possible LittleBigPlanet GOTY edition to be released in the UK. No word on US or Japan.
Special edition Ninja Gaiden 2 exclusive to gamestop and going for $99.99? Jesus!
Killzone getting patch and more maps

Via gamasutra: something about how Sony has dropped the ball this generation. Nothing really new, but it's always fun to read yet another take on Sony's status in this generation of consoles.:

Batman is pure fun from start to finish. (PS3)
Batman Arkham Asylum is one of the few licensed super hero games that does justice to the hero it is representing. What makes it great? For starters, the game has a great story that fits perfectly with the batman world. Secondly, it has the great atmospheric music and voice talent ...

Short game experience but worth replaying. (PSN)
It’s a good game at a good price, go buy it. Thanks for reading the review.     Seriously though, Shatter is what I consider the evolution of a traditional brick-breaker game. You control a ship that has a shield that works as a paddle and ammo in the form of ricochet ...

May not hold your attention for long, but it's still fun. (PSN)
Rag Doll Kung Fu:  Fist of Plastic is a remake of sorts of the PC Rag Doll Kung Fu. I’m almost sure you could play the original game online. This one on the other hand can only be played locally. One can only hope the developers will bring online multiplayer ...

A good addition to the Resistance universe. (PSP)
Resistance Retribution takes place a few weeks after the events of Resistance Fall of Man. You play the role of Grayson, a British ex-Marine swearing revenge on the Chimera after they had turned his brother into one of them. Throughout the story you’ll meet up with new characters and familiar ...

WTF? ...wait, I kinda like this thing! (PSN)
Can I review something that is not really a game?  Well, I'm being charged for it, so I guess that’s a yes. I found myself purchasing this demoscene (unlike the other demoscenes I’ve heard about, this one is interactive) from PSN for about $2.99. So, the first thing I did ...

Futuristic racing fun, at a great price! (PSN)
WipEout HD is a remake of sorts of some of the tracks from Pure and Pulse. So, if you have played those games before you are not going to see anything new per se. You will however, see these tracks in a new light (redone specifically for the PS3). It ...

Platforming goodness for as long as it llasts (which isn't long) (PSN)
It is ironic that my biggest gripe with R&C:QFB is the fact that it is intentionally short.  Then again, it's not so much that it is short, it is the fact that it offer little in regards to replayability.  Now that I think of it, it was rather nice to ...

Simple, artistic, and engaging gameplay with Pixeljunk Eden (PSN)
I wasn't a fan of Racer and slightly enjoyed monsters, but Eden has definitely gotten my attention. The jumping and diving mechanic (triggered by the moving the control down) were immediately frustrating.  I kept falling short of my targets or overshooting. What became more frustrating was that I was running ...
