Ive never gotten a message about quick scope sniping rooms before. I get plenty of '10th prestige lobby messages though.

My favourite 10th prestige message I got from some guy, it said "My friend is hosting a 10th prestige lobby, 1500 Microsoft points gets you and a friend in, Or you can send $20 to my paypal account and ill get you in for free"

Wow, i only need to pay you $20 and you can get me in for free? sounds like a great deal. I wounder how much money these cock-mules actually make from this 10th prestige garbage.

Back on topic though: I don't get the hate for 'quick scoping'. Ive never done it because I suck with the sniper and can get way more kills with my TAR, but if someone with a sniper can spin around kill me while im busy drilling them from 20 feet away, more power to them.

@Prolix said:
" What system are you on?  I play on the 360, so there is a in-game report function.  It works well and usually fast.  Most of the time, cheaters are removed before the match is over.  Just use Google to find your report function, for what ever game version your are using. But if the problem persists for more than 1 match, I advise you drop and find another.  Reporting them is pointless in many cases.  Because the modders are using proxies and other software to hide, mask and dodge tracking.   Its one of the reasons they haven't  hit prestige yet.     The fact is thou.  If people can, they will.  Just play with more friends and have fun.  "

I very much doubt Microsoft is able to find and remove cheaters within 2 minutes of the player being reported

I cant imagine playing a rock star game and skipping the cut scenes. How would you have any idea what is going on and who the characters are? Would ruin alot of the enjoyment of the singleplayer for me.

I have no insight but i am having the exact same problem. Multiplayer load screen is endless, i wait like 20 minutes, end up turning my xbox off - re try and its the same thing over and over again. Very disapointing, i was looking forward to playing the co-op, hopefully they will fix it soon.

I STRONGLY disagree, having the GPS is great - makes finding your way through the world alot less frustrating. If you dont like the GPS then dont set a waypoint, thats pretty much what you want right? and why would they replace the GPS map with a compass? the GPS already is a compass, it has the North arrow swiveling around the outside- just use it that way if thats what you want.

Without the GPS the game would be alot more frustrating, and i know i personaly would spend alot of time paused looking at the map like i did in Burnout paradise and PS2 era GTA games: which seems like less fun than the occassional glance down to check you are on the correct path. In fact the lack of a GPS waypoint system was the reason i stopped playing Burnout paradise. I think its a vital edition to any open world game.

John is 20 times better than Jack for 2 reasons.

Point 1) Jack has a whiny bitch voice and none of the wit John had in interactions with strangers.

Point 2) Jack's face and his stupid little beard annoy me. No where near as cool as John's facial hair.

In summary, killing John was a good story move - and playing as Jack to get revenge and finish the story is a great idea. Unfortunately Jack is whiny bitch with a stupid face.

Ive been enjoying it.

However, ive Had quite a few moments where ive felt like people were taking too many bullets to drop, especially when using the assault rifle, but its been awhile since i played a halo game so maybe i just suck.

Also, Sprint and jet pack seem pretty useless, and Ive been using Guard pretty cheaply. You can throw a grenade as soon as you get out of it and kill the guy who almost certainly would have destroyed you. Its been quite amusing for me as ive been able to cheat death alot but i think its unbalanced compared to scout and jet pack (i havent really used stealth too much).

the longer the better. The content in the bombcasts is always great and they could easily make them longer by doing more emails if they run out of things to talk about. Im always interested to hear Jeff, Ryan, Vinny and Brads take on stuff.

I think they do a great job with the 2 hour bombcasts, but id love to see them go longer.

I agree i wish instead of all this firewalker garbage and new character DLC with one mission they would just spend their time making a big expansion pack like oblivion did with Shivering isles.

Having these downloads with one little mission here and there feels so hollow, and as soon as your starting to get back into the world, it is over. I would rather wait and pay more for a big experience that really expands on the world and has alot of new missions/gear and stuff to do.

Its solid enough i guess. The quest is pretty good, one of the best missions in the game id say. But for 560 points its too short. If their had of been a mission to get Kasumi as well as the loyalty mission, so their would have been a total of at least 2 missions, then i would say its good value.  Unfortunately though there is only 1 mission.

If you are planning to replay through the game i would say its worth it, but if you have already completed the game on insane and theirs not really anything for you to do with her except this one mission, 560 points is a bit much. The extra SMG and research are not anything that special either.

I kind of regret getting it to be honest. The mission was over too quick and after it was over i was kind of just left with a feeling of 'is that it?'.
