If it's so short is there any reason it couldn't be part of MGSV proper? This whole thing stinks of a cash grab.

@peasantabuse: That's the one! It isn't Kurosawa, but I've always wanted to see it. Thanks!

Dude, that movie is fucking fantastic. Do whatever you can to get a hold of it.

In my time here I've seen some very bad look-a-like threads but this takes the fucking cake.

Well, that's certainly an interesting proposition. I wonder what Microsoft would do with all those old PS3s.

Whaaaat? Dragon God is like the Bed of Chaos of Demon's Souls, except even less confusing! Well alright, I vaguely recall there being plenty of spots where you've got to run between cover or run from oncoming fire being a bit much. And those motherfuckers at From putting a crystal gecko there too.

Anywho, did you like it?

Yeah, I loved it. I thought some of the boss encounters were far more interesting and exciting than anything in Dark Souls.

Unless you've been living in a cave for the last few months, you've no doubt noticed the Souls renaissance that's been happening on Giant Bomb for the last few months. By the time Vinny started on his journey to finish Dark Souls I'd already finished it but I still had the shadow of its predecessor hanging over my head.

When I first started playing Demon's Souls, way back in 2010, I wasn't really aware of what I was getting myself into. I made it five hours in, killing the Phalanx demon and the Armour Spider but getting completely stuck in the Tower of Latria. Fast forward 3 years later and I'd just beaten Dark Souls and I was feeling pretty good about myself. I started a new character in Demon's Souls and made another attempt. This time I made it further but I still hit a roadblock. I thought that was going to be the last I saw of a souls game until Dark Souls 2.

Then the Vinpocalypse happened. Vinny bent Dark Souls to his will in the most glorious and awe-inspiring ways and it gave me hope. I was going to beat Demon's Souls if it fucking killed me.

I did and it didn't. I finished the game without going insane or causing anyone any physical harm so I think I did pretty well.

Thanks Vinny, I guess.

P.S Fuck Dragon God.

Do you want me to question the morality of it or just sit here and say "yeah, that's probably true, or close to true"?

Whatever comes to mind.

Then I'll just be frank and state something I don't particularly like to say: Most of humanity, including myself, can't really care, largely because they're concerned with keeping themselves out of that sort of state. Most of us have enough sympathy to talk about it online as some great injustice but won't do anything about it because it would interfere with our day-to-day lives.

Ultimately, it is the responsibility of those who have so much money to help those who have absolutely nothing. I'm not trying to absolve the rest of us by saying that. When you've only got enough for yourself and your family, though, you do the best you can, and finding time and money to feed the starving people usually requires giving up everything you've already got. The best you can do is donate some to charities here and there.

So in short... yeah, this sounds like humankind. There's some pretty rough aspects to being a member of our species.

You know, we could give up playing games with our livelihoods, and stop handing the spoils of it all to the craftiest of gamblers in society. Humanity could be unified by *Clarity of Purpose*.

Of course such homogenization of various peoples around the globe would turn the world into a hotbed of open violent confrontation momentarily. Eventually however, I believe it would be worth it - even if it might take millenia to come to that conclusion on such matters.

Like Emperor Qin, who has unified China. Decried inhumane monster for almost a millenia, now finally has become *the Man who unified China*. I feel like our age is in need of an all new Emperor Qin, to give bloody birth to the unified Planet of Earth. Of course that's just daydreaming... what's most likely to be a horrendous nightmare.

That is seriously Hitler level insanity. I do not use that term lightly either.

Why do you think Brad is so cautious? It's because assholes in the chat can't wait to abuse him for making a mistake because they have this preconceived notion that he's bad at games.

Can you not just let him play how he wants to play without picking over everything he does?

No because it's his nature. Nowhere did I say he's bad at games. I'm not one of those people.

He can play however he wants, but expect to be criticized when he's doing absolutely nothing. He quibbles over every little thing. "Oh this tactic is cheap I shouldn't be doing this". Dude fucking who cares? Man it's so cheap that this ranged spell caster is attacking from range effectively. Derp. That sort of thing drives me nuts. In a game like this you take any advantage you can get.

You hit the nail on the head my friend. Stop wasting your time complaining about the way someone else plays a game, I'm sure there are more productive things you could be doing.
