Don't get me wrong, there are TONS of things that I love about video games. However, there are some things that I'd personally like to see more of from this industry just because I don't see why not.
More specifically, expendable female enemies. I'm pretty tired of the testosterone heavy hanchpeople that consume the game market. The fairer sex can be evil as well, if not more so. Variety is the spice of life.
More specifically, GOOD movies inspired by games. I mean, the only decent movies from this category are either from the Resident Evil franchise or that Silent Hill film. Hell, I was so stoked about that Max Payne movie but of course disappointment always ensues.
Yes, it had flaws but damn I want more XIII!!! Borderlands had that cel-shaded look but that goofy spy comic book feel I haven't seen anywhere else in an FPS.
Oh Donkey Kong...what happened to you? You were my favourite 3D platformer on the Nintendo. Screw Super Mario 64! Yet Mario got all the attention with the Galaxy series. Give me this and maybe, just maybe I'll consider getting a Wii.
I love random stuff you could interactive with, like the faucet and the toilet. Max Payne did it, it's coming back with Deadly Premonition, SO WHY CAN'T YOU VIDEO GAME DEVELOPER???!!!
Hey!! Where's my Rayman??!! I mean a proper polygonal adventure with crazy art style enemies! Rayman 2 was my first foray into an epic epic adventure collecting ice and fire orbs to fight these huge ice and fire golems, and doing that final level over and over again because of those stupid homing missiles. Yeah....I want a proper return for Rayman.
