My favorite games from this year.
Honorable mention (in no particular order): LittleBigPlanet 2, Bulletstorm, Jetpack Joyride, Fruit Ninja Kinect, Dance Central 2, Child of Eden.
Games I didn't start and/or play enough yet, but want to: Deus Ex, Trenched, de Blob 2, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Rayman: Origins, Renegade Ops
The story and puzzles were great. The writing and voice work was excellent. Never have I laughed more while playing a game.
Skyrim convinced me to love a game style (RPG) and world (fantasy) that I usually would not otherwise enjoy.
Batman is cool.
Very fun to play as Cole MacGrath, the non-traditional superhero. I thoroughly enjoyed my time. Now to go back and play through as a bad guy.
At best, it matched Uncharted 2. Beautiful world and great storytelling, but somewhat flawed game play.
My first full experience with Gears was a fine time.
I was very drawn to the adventure game play as well as the novelty and technology of the facial animations.
The super suit was super cool.
A wonderful return to and improvement on what I like best about Resistance: cool guns and an interesting alternative timeline.
Excellent party game and great humor. Tons of fun.
