Has happened 3 times for me so far while watching the wednesday mario maker stream. Might be memory related, it keeps climbing constantly and is currently at over 4 GB for the stream tab alone.

Version 75.0.3770.100 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Update: seems to crash quite consistently a couple of minutes after it hits 4 GB memory usage.

This is normal with the FE cards, it's a blower cooler and the default fan curve tries to keep it as quiet as possible. Use a custom fan curve that ramps up the fan faster if you want it to run cooler.

Necro time! I know this thread is old, but let's try anyway. Does anyone know what happened to this app? It was my favorite GB app on Android, but looks like it recently just vanished, the play store page is gone as is the github repo.

There are multiple ways you can escape, two of which not many people seem to know about: You can hide in bushes and switching cars lets you enter police vision cones and not be pursued as long as you don't get really close to the cop.

If you hide in a bush or switch a car when the cops don't see you, the arrow on your minimap turns grey. This indicates that you are hidden. The police will not pursue you even if you are inside their vision cones as long as you don't get too close.

Example of car switching:

After switching cars the arrow in the minimap turned grey (which might be hard to see because of my amazing video capture skills), but you can see me pass a police car that is coming straight at me even though I still have two stars.

Eh, I hope that the streaming stuff works well. This sounds totally useless otherwise, having an OS that's dedicated to TF2 and bad indie games doesn't exactly sound great.

Get a PS3. I've tried both OnLive and Gaikai on PC and it's not a good experience compared to playing it natively. The video compression is noticeable and the input lag is also very noticeable.

@kpaadet: They said the console will be on standby and the save state will be saved on RAM. Aka. the console wont actually be turned off, it's still using some power. You can do that on PC, it's called sleep. So yeah, I very much can.

Not impressed at all. The community stuff is cool and all, but none of it really makes me want to get the PS4 instead of continuing to upgrade my PC. They didn't really show us anything new, it's just a beefier console with a couple of handy community features. I can do all this on my PC already.

I guess it all depends on the price though... If it's much more than 300€ (which it probably will be), I'm not interested.

Also this document they just released has more in-depth specs:

CPU : x86-64 AMD “Jaguar”, 8 cores
GPU : 1.84 TFLOPS, AMD next-generation Radeon™ based graphics engine
Memory GDDR5 8GB

@Aoi: Nearly every PC game has 360 controller support out of the box now, except for RTS and MMO games maybe.

Also it's out now, opt into the steam beta and the button should show up. It's crashing constantly for me though, I guess it's not compatible with Windows 8 yet.

@GunslingerPanda: For some stupid reason the Diablo 3 login doesn't use the authenticator. Or at least mine doesn't. Starcraft 2 and WOW ask for the code from it when I log in, Diablo 3 doesn't.
