Also, while not necessarily a full fledged trailer this one should have been.

As much as this day was tragic, I really hate how much emphasis is put on it they like to talk about this day as if that is the only time that terrorists killed innocents. Like America is the only country that this has ever happened to, and I hate the nationalistic hoo rah that happened after this, where it became not just ok but encouraged to single out muslims and people from middle eastern descent. It's this kind of thing that ultimately brought around the Nazi party and I have always been very wary of this fact.

I was a military brat that was stationed over seas at the time that this happened, we were in school when this happened and I remember large scale panic going on the base. There were three bases that were close together and unfortunately the middle school was situated on the least secure base. There were several attempts that terrorists tried to pull to get on the base, at one point they tried to stowaway on a semi-trucks cargo and had loaded it with explosives. Fortunately they didn't make it onto the base.

@Stepside: Because of my upbringing I was able to go to all kinds of places that people generally can't. Being that as it may there are a few places, in Europe that I would recommend going to.
There are the major tourist spots all over europe, Loch Ness, the Vatican and what have you, If your anywhere near it I would fully recommend going to Sherwood forest once the Robin Hood festival starts. It's what you would expect more or less a big Renaissance fair, but everything is tightly focused on Robin Hood. The cliffs of Dover is outstanding especially for WW2 junkies, they have tours that go through the tunnels that were built into the cliffs. I believe Edinburgh has a great tour/haunted tour, you go around Edinburgh at night. The Vatican is something that everyone should probably go to once in their life, I'm not even religious but it was breath taking. Also don't buy food near the Vatican as they like to keep their prices high. There is a lot of stuff to go and do if you look for Castles, such as Warwick castle. I believe that was the name, or I just think thats what it is because of the dude from CSI.

Hm, when I think of european countries and cities that I would like to visit (to be fair i've already been to them) those aren't generally at the top of my list. Why didn't you guys want to go for more, I guess well traveled tourist spots and instead go to the ones you have chosen? If I hadn't already been I would have thought Edinburgh, London, Paris, The Vatican, Rome, Belgium, Scotland, Ireland would have been the kind of places people would save up to go see. (again having already been to all the places I listed, I would go to the out of the way places as well)

I don't generally need to look at the keyboard when I type, I had typing classes back in elementary school so more or less I was always above what people generally thought you should be at that age. (my elementary school was in a DODEA school in Texas which I think at the time was one of the top schools in the country) Either way I have been typing on a keyboard without the need to look at it ever since around that age. The only problems that tend to arise for me are, keys that aren't letters or punctuation IE the number row. I never really need to type numbers too often so I never got around to learning that, and when I generally have to put numbers in I always found that writing out the number in a sentence is better than the numerical character.

@pixieface: I met my best friend the first day of college and we basically gravitated towards each other right away. We were both in the same field going through art classes that we invariably were both in. He was always a better artist than I was but we would play off of each other for concepts and weird things to do and work on but my urge to draw died when he did. As much as I feel sometimes that I should be drawing, I can't draw anymore he kinda took that with him. So I have had to switch majors now because on one hand I know I can't do his memory justice (annoying pun because that's his name) so I have ended up switching over to an english degree. Almost all my work in some way comes back to him, though.
