I have had so many friends from highschool and quite a bit through college, just give ICP so much love for it. They loved how being a juggalo made them feel because religions didn't accept them. Then to turn around and have them say to their fans, yea we've always been evangelicals we just knew that if that is what we made our music about no one would pay attention. So we made a whole bunch of songs completely opposite of what we believe in such as shooting and killing, hell we even signed other bands even more deranged like Killaz to our label. Why? So we could trick you and see if when we said hey we are actually christians you should totally be too maybe you'll actually do it.

Cause we are cool right brah? It's not like we would lie to you or mislead you right?

Oh....

Dragon Age 2 isn't placed years and years after Origins, it starts off during origins when lothering is destroyed. That happens after you leave the town so maybe an hour or two into the game. From there it goes for a decade into the life of hawk. So it starts during Origins and ends ten years later.

@Bigrhyno:
I don't see a reason why that would be a problem on whether or not someone has the money to pay for a subscription. In the end it comes down to the fact that what this money is being used for is Giantbomb. If they don't have the money to purchase one then they weren't going to be spending 50 dollars on a yearly Subscription and that's 50 dollars Giantbomb wouldn't have received, Gifting a subscription still sends the money to GB which they wouldn't have already gotten. Same goes to those who weren't going to pay, GB wouldn't have received any money from them and gifting someone a subscription would ultimately take the money back into GB's hands as though they were bought by someone for themselves.

I don't expect people to randomly gift a subscription to just anyone, it would end up being sent to someone that the user is familiar with on the site, someone you talk to on a fairly regular basis.

There seems to be a lot of members on here, wanting to donate to Giant Bomb and are doing so because they feel they should support them.  There are cash limits on how much you can ultimate pay to support them, from 5 dollars a month or fifty a year, I've seen posters here and there stating that they would gladly donate more money. Now, some of us either don't have the money to actually spare for a subscription or for some reason are for lack of a better word boycotting it. However I was thinking that there is a way to allow subscribers to donate more money than they are right now.

What if we made it so that members are able to gift a subscriptions to other members on the site, it allows those who want to donate more a means to do so.

I'm honestly rather surprised by how people are reacting to this thing, I mean really you frequent a site for a while and they never asked for any kind of donations. They actually refused donations because it didn't feel right for to have their members give them money and not get something substantial back. How many bombcasts have you guys listened to and absolutely enjoyed, what about the quick looks, the video reviews, TANG, or the endurance runs? They now come out and tell us they have been trying to figure out a good way to let people basically donate to them and to get something they feel is a good exchange for that donation. Oh no, we can't have that can we? How dare these guys who have given so much content out for free make a way for people to donate to them and get something nice in return.

What are we going to go and complain about next guys? I know why don't we head over to Rooster Teeth and insult and boycott their sponsor program those fascists and wanting to support themselves and their families.

The thing is that it's usually the minority that you hear or see the most. We may have seen a lot of comments about insulting the other whiskey media sites, there were how many people watching the stream and in the chat room? Which comments stick out to you more the comments insulting the other sites or the comments actually talking about whats happening.

To be completely honest, I don't really go to the other sites but I really had no problem with the content they were bringing. Except for that last segment comic vine did, that seriously was hard to watch it wasn't the fault of the comic vine crew though more along the lines of the people that weren't part of the site.

I can't spend 150 dollars on one game, there are many many good games out there that I don't own and many more that have yet to come out. While it is very tempting with everything they are packing together in this legendary edition of the game, I'm going with the normal edition and like what happens with everything video game related I'll be able to listen to the commentary on youtube videos.

The persona games hold a very special place in my heart. I had never played one before persona 3 was released and even then I rented it from Gamefly when FES was released. I can't quite remember why I first decided to give this game a try but I suppose it doesn't really matter anymore. After several sleep deprived nights of playing away at the game ( and still just barely scratching the surface of it ) I started bursting at the seams talking about the game to my best friend. We were very close to the point of basically being family but not by blood. It got to the point where we would spend weekends playing through this game on my ps2. Discussing the game constantly and becoming avid fans of the series that we had only just become aware of. After months of playing the game and replaying the game it became our go to game to play during the weekends. That and Gears of War 2 when it first came out as I couldn't beat one of the first missions on my own and had to bring him into co-op to help. I haven't played a persona game in coming on a year now, sadly he passed away in a car accident last september. The persona series will always be that series that reminds me more than anything of him and the vast amounts of weekends that we spent playing the game whenever college didn't demand our attention. Yet, I still haven't been able to find a copy of Persona 3 to keep at my place to play in his memory. The persona series has since become something that is more than just a video game to play to cure my current boredom, It's become one of the very few ways I can still feel a strong connection to him even though he is gone. I haven't been able to find a copy for me to purchase sadly, even the copies of it for sale on amazon are ridiculously expensive. I have kept everything that I possibly could of his or what reminds me of him. Yes, I refuse to delete his game profile he created on my 360 hard drive (cogelitecarmine) I refuse to get rid of the converse that I have had since highschool because of the fact that he wrote on them a week after I met him. I don't think i'll ever get rid of the picture he drew of captain douchebag, aside from being simply marvelous it's something that we drew in math class bored out of our respective minds. It's such a horrible feeling to lose someone that meant so much to you, to know that all the plans we had made were never going to come to fruition. All the talks of getting out of Ohio and just driving non-stop to California because aside from him knowing how much that state means to me, we really wanted an apartment out there to work on videogames to set up something that would stand the test of time.

I've never had the luxury of staying in one place for very long, my military upbringing meant we were always leaving for a new base, a new state, a new country. I've never been in one place for more than six years at a time. Getting stuck here in Ohio to spend my senior year in high school felt horrid to me, to think that after spending my high school years with a consistent group of friends and then having to leave just before my last year. Starting to go into college to find that he was in each and every single one of my classes, spending all our time playing video games or drawing for school. Spending countless hours on countless weekends trudging through Persona 3 and playing Gears of War 2 and Left 4 Dead. Hopefully I'll find a persona 3 FES game that I'll be able to keep with me just to remember the good times we had together.

Video games have started to come out of the realm where only those with a love for Dungeons and Dragons and repeatedly shooting an alien in the face with a gun can find merit in them. Motion gaming and the Wii in particular has garnered the attention of those who wouldn’t normally touch a controller. As such Nintendo has tried hard to stay in the public's mind with their software and hardware that has become aimed at those who haven’t necessarily been buying their systems avidly in the past. *for better or worse* One of the many peripherals that they have come out with over the last couple years is the Wii Fit and the balance board peripheral that comes along with it.

Wii fit is a game in the loosest sense of the word, it comes packed in with a very sophisticated piece of technology for the price. The balance board is a nice little piece of plastic that hearkens back to the nineteen-eighties for what they tried to do with motion gaming peripherals back then such as the power glove. The first time you start up Wii fit and step on the balance board it calculates your BMI status, it will then ask you to set a goal for yourself concerning your BMI. The goals will end up concerning where you want to end up and the amount of time you want to give your self to reach said goal. The goals will appear on the Wii fit calendar and graphs which will detail your progress of your BMI and weight, it will also allow you to compare your progress against eight others so that you can get the whole family involved.

The Wii fit activity log allows you to record the amount of time you have spent exercising outside of the Wii fit, you enter it on the activity log under light, medium, or heavy exercise and have the ability to compare the amount of time spent and the strength over time. Wii fit allows you to track your calorie intake and how many calories you burn in your exercise and how much exercise you have to do to burn off the calories of the food you have eaten.

While nothing can really get rid of having a personal trainer or coach to urge you day in and day out to stay on task or work harder. The Wii fit does a decent job of trying to give you the illusion of your own personal trainer and gives you the option to choose between a male or female avatar for your trainer if you are so inclined to have a preference. If you are using Wii fit at the very least you should get on every morning before work and checking yourself in for the day to keep track of where you are at and the goals you are going for. Even if you don’t want to use Wii fit for it’s personal training functions or it’s tracking, you can play short little fun mini games that require you to move around on the board to burn some calories while having fun and playing with your family.

I’ll talk more about the specific games and training that Wii fit has integrated into it’s game in a later article.
Next article will be however all about Microsofts new motion accessory Kinect and Ubisofts your shape game for the Kinect.

@CowMuffins:  I've sadly never really been able to play through sandbox games, I always get annoyed or bored while playing. I'm not sure why, but give me so much freedom and I don't end up really wanting to do anything.
