Completed - classic. my introduction to shooters. It has many faults, the graphics being a huge one but it redeems itself through it genuinely being a really enjoyable play. The multi-player (although probably dead now) was just a laugh and for those of you who don't mind their shooters being silly, this is great.
Completed - I adore this game, and the series. This was another brilliant addition, the climbing, running, fighting, horse riding, assassinations - all were stylish and well done. Multi-player was refreshing and different and addictive. I powered my way through the levels unlocking all the treats and characters they through at me. It's a shame the level caps at 50 but I look forward to what other DLC they offer.
Completed - After loving Arkham Asylum, I was very much looking forward to this game, and though it didn't change much I still enjoyed playing it. The story was still compelling and the added gadgets were fun to use as the old ones were. There are plenty of side missions to keep you occupied and more riddler trophies than ever.
Completed - Love this game to bits, it's such a great game. Multiplayer is amazing and I've spent hours playing it and will continue to until the third one is released later this year! The graphics are great for its age, the sense of team work online is greater and the story good fun. This game has a lot going for it, and if BF3 tops it I will be impressed.
This game is great, if you have friends to play it with. I found that playing it alone was nowhere near as fun as when I played it with mates who also own it. The missions are fun and the style is different and exciting. Some points can be frustrating but you get past them with time and overall I really enjoyed this.
Completed - I borrowed this, it scared me, I left it for about a year and returned to it. I found that I loved it, it's unlike anything else. The setting, scenery, music and story were all really great and I loved everything about it. I have Bioshock 2 to play so we'll see if it carries on. But this is one of my favourite games.
Completed - Not quite as good as the first but I enjoyed it all the same. Different weapons, nice atmosphere and a completely different story make this a must play if you liked the first.
Completed - Really clever and mind-blowing. The ideas behind this game are incredible, I was very impressed. It's completely unique in it's game-play and story- nothing that i've seen before
Completed - This games humour is not for everyone, but I enjoyed it in a "Oh, you" sort of way. The story is crazy and the characters are too, but that's all part of the fun. Multi-player consists of waves of enemies with you and others trying to score certain skill shots. This is refreshing, but I grew tired of it quickly.
Completed - Good racing game, crashes are awesome and good to play online. The races are long and have a good range of difficulty. Only irritating thing about it is that if you fail you have to drive all the way back to the start line to retry and the mini-map is awkward to read whilst driving at such speeds.
Now, I am in two minds about this. It's good fun, but the glitches really bug me because they happen so often. I haven't attempted playing it in a while because it feels hard to get back into now I've stopped playing for so long.
Completed - I brought this because it was about 50p and I'm really not into the Fifa games but it is a good game to have for when friends visit and they want something quick to play. However i wont be rushing to get any of the others until they're about the same price.
Completed - I really like the ideas this game has, however sometimes the interrogation is a little confusing, and I bloody hate the driving mechanics. Apart from that it was interesting and well worth looking into. The world is stylish and the cases albeit similar a lot of the time are very well presented.
Completed - Because I love POTC, I picked this up. It was a fun little game, however I dont know if i prefer the Harry Potter game to this... Magic seems more appealing with the Lego games that swords. On the other hand, the humour as always with LEGO is lovely and they capture the films very well.
Completed - Loved the first game, love this game more. Pure genius. Hours and hours of fun, can be played at anytime, with almost anyone. Even my 5 year old brother can play it with me and that's great. The levels are clever and the sack boys/bots adorable. I'm not talented enough to make my own good levels, but I can see the mountains of potential there for those with the skills I lack.
Completed - I love LOTR, so this was a treat. Though not technically brilliant it was just a fun game to pick up and play, whether alone or with friends (when the multiplayer actually worked) I haven't touched it in a while but it's another great game to play if you love the franchise.
Completed - it is brilliant OTT fun and all the mini games etc are great. Another game great for when friends are over. The story sees many annoying fights towards the end, where it forces you to play cheaply spamming certain moves just to survive, but I suppose that's what Mortal Kombat is like at times, and looking past that this game really is great.
Completed - Awesome, Awesome, Awesome. I loved this game to bits and the multiplayer is just as fun! Glados is as witty and crazy as ever and the addition of Stephen Merchant is amazing, Wheatly is a great character and I dont think I stopped smiling while playing.
Completed - Fun little game, great to play co-op. Any difficulty other than normal is crazy hard, and will have you shouting at your TV for sure, but for a quick blast of gaming, this holds a lot of appeal.
Completed - This game has me in two minds (chuckles) I don't particularly like it, but I dont hate it either. The problem with it is that it's just too... grey. Though they've fixed that in Infamous 2 so if you can get past all the grey in this and get onto Infamous 2, it's much more colourful!
Completed - Yes, it's a kids game. But Toy Story is so amazing that I had to buy this, especially with a younger brother and sister. I loved it anyway and they love it too. The story is short, but sweet and the mini missions are similar. However there are a lot of them and it will hold your attention until you've 100%'ed it.
Completed - Hilarious weird game. The music is hilarious and the little "blob things" are cute. Though it doesn't give you much direction you can easily work out the general idea and take it from there. Mucking around is a good idea as you tend to find extra parts you missed the first couple of play-throughs.
Completed - I used to own PS2 versions of The Sims and wasn't really a fan, but since my computer is rubbish I thought i'd try out The Sims on PS3. They've made a lot of improvements however im still unsure as to whether i like it or not. Now I also own this on PC as I've upgraded my laptop, and I have to say I prefer it on PC.
Completed - Absolutely loved this game. I've played hours upon hours of it and i'm still not fed up of it all. Multiplayer is just as good. The story was good and long and had many varied missions and characters. The wit and humour are good, as were the other aspects such as horse movement etc.
Completed - Pac-Man, but more awesome. The colours, the sounds, everything about this game is great. It's so satisfying when you chomp down on those ghosts and there's plenty of different stages to get through.
Completed - Brought this on the PS3 to see if it was as good as the PC version. I have to say it does a pretty good job of living up to the greatness of the other, though aiming is a little less precise. Nothing is different to the PC, all features and extras are included. Overall a great little game.
Completed - This game is really frustrating at times. One wrong move and it costs you the level, however it has a really nice style and I enjoyed playing through this. After you've grasped the basics it gets easier to figure out where to place things but it is very specific.
Completed - Genius, I could play this over and over, and infact I have. I own this on numerous platforms and the PS3 version is just as good as any other. Most of the features are included, if not some new ones and the story mode is exactly the same, not that they needed to change anything!
My god. This is insane, as MK always is. The fights are bloody and difficult but it's a classic and deserves a play. I think I'll stick to MK9 but I enjoyed giving this a go.
Completed - Jumping mechanics are awful, but the robots are cute. Also the fact that it has Simon Pegg in is pure genius and just adds that extra bit of charm. This would probably be fine for smaller kids to play, so I might let my little brother and sister have a shot at it soon and see what they think.
Completed - what? this game is craaaazy. Swords and Soldiers everywhere. I liked this game but it is a lot down to luck as to whether to get through a level or not which sort of lets it down.
Completed - Hilarity ensues. Everyone alive needs to play this and fall about in tears when any of the characters speak. You die all the time, with no consequence but hey, that's what arcade remakes are like eh. Seriously, pick this up if you haven't yet. You'll play through it in 20 minutes max, but it is so worth it.
I'm so bad at this, it's unreal. I dislike this game because the controls are so crazy. I haven't played much, so my views are probably not very reliable, but I honestly can not get into it.
Completed - WORMS, love some worms. Better than the original. More weapons, more customization and more fun. I've played countless hours of multi-player with friends and it is always a firm favourite.
Completed - Crazy fun, definitely a multiplayer game. They really are rag dolls, floppy as anything. Good for a five minute game, jump in and out and just mess around. The modes are silly, the characters are silly, and the theme song is genius. What more can I say.
Completed - Mental. I'm awful at this game, I think you definitely have to be a fan of this sort of style to enjoy this as it just seems mental and hard to me!
Completed - I love this game, it's brilliant fun. I love the style, the soundtrack and the story. Scott Pilgrim is a must, though at points very hard it is a great little game that's worth the money. If you liked the film, you'll enjoy this - and if you liked the game you'll like the film.
Completed - Love lbp and you'll like this, cant get enough of sack boy. The move works surprisingly well with the style of LBP. This is solely two player however.
Completed - Surprisingly fun, though i wasn't very good when i first started playing. The puzzles are varied, the only thing that got annoying was the lady who does the voice-over...
Completed - This game is a simple one, but it's good and the music is awesome. If you have five minutes to spare this is a game to play, you can complete a level in a few minutes.
Completed - Amazing, I've played a lot of this and still love it. The comic style graphics and simple storyline are charming and it's just light-hearted and enjoyable.
Completed - Good fun, though parts are just luck. It's a simple idea and easy to play. The music is fine and the levels consistent. If you enjoyed Super Stardust then this will be something for you.
Completed - Like this, though some of the levels are insane. Dying became very familiar when I played it, but it is good fun and incredibly satisfying.
Completed - Oh my god. So fast. Tricky little racer, but fun and hey, you can do a barrel roll ;D My eyes were starting to hurt after a few races due to the extreme speed, but I really loved this.
Completed - Although different to all other FF games, I didn't mind this. Some parts were frustrating and very linear, but it's a beautiful game and has some lovely music. Some characters are annoying, and some strong. But overall I had fun with this and saw it through to the end unlike quite a few people.
Completed - I really enjoyed this. Though I haven't played the first I found myself really loving the story and the action plus everything else this game has to offer. It's a nice looking game with some great places to explore and people to meet.
Completed - This was a sceptical buy, after all the news about it being "awful" I treated it with caution. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I found myself thoroughly enjoying everything about it. The combat is extremely satisfying and this game seems born to be played co-op. Missions aren't too repetitive and minus the glitches and occasional freezes this game is great.
Completed - This game is really charming, it's a simple concept that's pulled off effectively and I can't think of anything bad to say about it except that it's a little short. The costumes are well done and the combat is simple but enjoyable. I'm still playing through the DLC but so far that has been great too.
Completed - This is a short game, but it's very fun to pick up and play. My boyfriend and I got through this across two nights of a few hours of play. The cars control nicely and the explosions are what it's all about.
Completed - I loved the first game and this was just as good in my opinion. There are more characters to unlock, more red and gold bricks to find and many more studs. The humour is delightful, as always and I would definitely recommend giving this a go.
Completed - I have to say I enjoyed this game more than the other two, possibly because of the inclusion of horses... It's more of the same in the case of story, nathan drake and sully etc but I found the story to be fun and everything about it engaging. Multiplayer is very enjoyable and fresh and I can see myself playing a lot of it.
Completed - I have to admit I wasn't expecting much going into this and perhaps that's helping, but I am very impressed. The combat, look and style and voice acting is very good. My only problem is the linearity of it all, I'd love to be able to go whereever I wished instead of sticking to one set path.
Completed - This game is tons of fun, bizarre and completely insane. It has a bit of everything, so there's bound to be something you'll like. Driving, shooting, racing, space, earth, gangs, comedy, flying, boats, the lot. I highly recommend this.
Completed - After having a ton of issues with game-play/freezing/framerate on the PS3, I gave this a break for a few months and came back to it, started a fresh game and sat down with it for a few days. I loved it on my second attempt, everything about it is fun and engaging from the music to the rpg elements to the combat. I have now completed the main quests and all but one of the guilds and this game still holds a lot of unseen goodies for me.
Completed - I thought this game was fun, the usual mass effect experience. I like many was not a fan of the endings, but that doesn't take away from the fact that this is still a brilliant game and a great addition to the series.
You can't really complete this as it's purely multiplayer but I'm currently around level 50 and still enjoying it. It's different to all the other FPS's as it's lighthearted and jokey. There are tons of gadgets and perks to unlock as well as costumes and calling cards. All seem interesting and fun.
Completed - I really enjoyed this, it was refreshing and different to anything I've played recently. The puzzles are fun, though challenging and the story funny and interesting. I got the "good ending" and was pleased with it, but may go back and play it again to get the "bad" ending.
This game is great for little kids. My sister loves it and has loads of fun sitting and playing it with me. It's simple and the motion control works fine. The camera quality on the move isn't too great though so your living room looks a little blurry. Plenty of stuff to do, customization etc.
After trying EyePet my sister was eager to give this a go and loves it just as much as the first. There's different activities and things seem to be pulled off better in this game. Loads of stuff to unlock and aim for, a ton more customization and fun for the younger gamer. Plus there's the option for two people to play if you have another move controller.
