Ok after watching that Uruguay v South Africa game, I cannot believe they Red Carded the goalie.  That was totally unnecessary.

There have been quite a few questionable calls so far this Cup.  The refs seem to be very harsh with the cards.  I have seen a lot of Yellows that were at best questionable and at worst purely pulled by acting.  I don't watch a ton of soccer, so I'm not certain how common this level of flopping is, but it feels like a new level of it to me.

I might call this notable in a good way.  Unless they were planning on announcing some sort of MAJOR shift in the Franchise I don't need to hear anything about new colored art for the same game I've been playing since 2000.

The Chinstrap Quest is NOT for a game.  This is a big hint.  The clue about discussion and community is relevant.

A clue for one that I found:

A Propulsion Mechanism Tempest:  End of Days

Hopefully that isn't too oblique.

So harsh to PS3 owners.  Although I do wonder how they actually define "exclusive" as they have had pretty shaky definitions of that in the past.

For JRPGs I always recommend:
Suikoden and Suikoden II

Those games are quite unique (especially the magic system) and imo some of the best RPGs and the PS1.

It has been changed in one of the recent patches so that force fields are destroyed by votexes so you cannot crush an army in that way.

HD and Husky are a great place to go for the new comer to the game.  After you've played a few games yourself and listened to most of HD and Husky's stuff, you will appreciate Day[9] much more.    His commentaries are much more high level than either HD or Husky (especially Husky).  Day[9] really delves deep into the possible strategies and what is going through the players' heads.  He is also well regarded in the Starcraft community at large.  His daily podcasts are EXCELLENT learning opportunities as well as sometimes being hilarious.   I highly recommend him.

http://da9tv.blip.tv   He has tons of game commentaries on there, and his daily Day9 Daily podcasts which generally focus on a couple games a day.

Regional servers - Yes this is a major bitch, being limited to your specific region sucks ass. People play with others all around the world. This is not an FPS where lag makes a big difference, games published by Blizz before never did this and people played fine together (WoW being exception). The Lag argument is bullshit, let the player see and decide if he wants to play with higher latency players. For tournaments even more so. Really no reason to do this. Completely agree with Husky. "
Actually I will have to disagree with you there.  The lag argument is very valid.  Especially for the upper level players, when a large battle is occurring having your unit responses delayed by milliseconds will lose you the game.  High level players rely on being able to precisely put units at the right locations to defeat the opponent's army.

That being said, I agree it is entirely possible to work around those issues and allow connectivity worldwide.  I would guess the best reason Blizzard has for not doing it is language issues.  Playing against an opponent who is continually taunting you in German or Korean would probably be less than ideal for most English speaking players.  (It's Starcraft, you know there are jerks who will just taunt people all day)

Eventually I'm sure Blizzard will sell CD Keys through their store, and then have the game available for digital download.

Right at release they won't to force people to shop at the stores for a bit and move some boxes.  Also to take pressure off the servers which will be swamped with people on the early days.  They will later for sure.  They have with every other game so far.  No reason they wouldn't this time too.
