usually what happens with exploits like this is a bunch of people jump on it, get the gear and high five themselves, then start complaining that they no longer have anything to do.

So true.

On the ending: The bridge you cross on your way out of town / the one you repair in the end bears a strong resemblance to Red and her Boyfriend. Has me wondering if this all has happened before in some crazy time loop. You repair / build the bridge before you die and then come back (on your next play through?) to cross over it.

Just finished it last night. Great twist at the end with the daughter. Possibly my favorite in the series so far. Usually i hang up these types of games after i finish the story but i think i'll stick around and pick up the rest of the collectibles.

I might even go back and try to play III now to see the second half of that games story. Well, maybe I'll just youtube it.

If you've played the rest of the series you might as well finish out the Desmond story line. Wont take too long if you just mainline the missions. There is some decent stuff in 3. Boat stuff might feel a bit stripped down after playing 4 though.

No problems cranking the game to max on my GTX 680. Looks great on PC. Dont see any of the screen tearing during cut scenes that i heard about in the console reviews.
