Grath Ennis was the master at writing the Punisher, the only person who was able to write him correctly. But when he left... it was just one bad crappy storyline after the other and that's still going on. It's too bad that half the fan base can't see that.
Joshua and Adon should have been the main characters in Turok 3. But where is the female alien Adon on giantbomb.com??? And this website is wrong, the ending to Turok 3 was left open because Adon said that she could save him.
It sucks that Domasi Tawodi is not going to be the main character in the 2nd game. Is Turok going to be the only American Indian to ever be the main character in a video game????
Where's Uhura on giantbomb.com?
And the cartoon character.
I love these guys. "Truly, the Freeman leaves no path unexplored." "Ah, no pit would be complete without a Freeman climbing out of it." "Yes, take the Freeman!" "Yes…" "There is no finer companion."
There like European Samurai.
Larry Hama (the creator of G.I. Joe) has been the only writer to have ever written Snake Eyes and being a couple with Scarlett correctly. Everyone else has either not even tried or has completely failed and that would include other G.I. Joe titles (written by other people), all the animation series and live action films.
Because of issue #27 in September 1984 stated that she's been with and has always loved Snake Eyes, in September 2013, it will be 30 years of a solid loving relationship between them.
The best male in Onimusha.
The best female in Onimusha.
The male Revan with long brown hair that's slicked back.
The only adult female in the group who didn't act like a child (Handmaiden), who wasn't evil (Kreia) or a bitch (Mira).
At the end, I always make sure that The Circle of Magi has it's independence from the Templars and the Chantry. Nobody needs hardcore military and religious fanatics watching you 24/7.
Most still want or don't mind being called American Indians.
My Gray Warden is Daylen, a male human Mage with long black hair that's slick back. Not the typical Knight with a sword and a buzz cut.
My male human Mage, Daylen, loves Morrigan... or how she sees love. Leliana was nice, sweet and tough... but a little too religious for me. I mean it was the Maker this and the Maker that... meh. The first romance scenes with Leliana gets a little too cheesy. I need a tougher woman Morrigan.
Where's Tigatron on giantbomb.com??
Once characters like Gaia, Mondo, and Sho were gone... there's was no more reason to play these games.
It's said that Kage-Maru is the main protagonist of Virtua Fighter... I'm not sure, but he should be because he has the deepest saddest story and has won the most fights in VF.
It hasn't been proven that his last name is Speed.
Her name is spelled Asuka Kasen.
When is there ever going to be a Predator that's going to live at the end of a film????
It's too bad that Anne Lewis never appeared in any of the RoboCop games.
Carlito Keyes was the only character I liked in Dead Rising. I would have rather played him than some dumb white guy who has to take his damn camera everywhere. It would have been much more interesting to play a bad guy (who has all the guns) who wants to see everyone in the world become zombies.
Sareena doesn't get enough love.
I love Scorpion but... some people have wonder why he isn't the main character in MK (so have I)... well the answer to that seems to be because he's not main protagonist material at all. He's mad, pissed off, has nothing really intelligent to say, he's gullible, and wants revenge by any means necessary... that's pretty much it... that's all he's got. Although it's the writer's fault for not doing more with him. After MK4 he became just a one-note character who's just about always on the side of the bad guys.
Gray Fox shouldn't have been killed off, he could have been the Snake Eyes from G.I. Joe in Metal Gear. In fact I wish he had taken Raiden's place, that would have made Sons of Liberty far better. It's no wonder that they had to make Raiden into a Ninja in the 4th game.
Where's the Solid Snake from Metal Gear Ac!d 1? Anyway... the only way to have Snake (or Solid Snake) come back is to make Metal Gear Ac!d 3 or do another alternate universe game. One where he never meets Meryl or Raiden. Hell I would rather he meet and get together with Olga Gurlukovich, give Snake a real tough woman.
Olga Gurlukovich should have been the main female lead in the Metal Gear Solid series. She had everything that made her a protagonist. A very, very rough life since childhood, even in her adult life she had to make sacrifices like her child. And she could kick ass with and without the Gary Fox Ninja suit.
Che Guevara... I mean Naked Snake. When it comes to basing a character off someone, Solid Snake has been based off several different people throughout the games. Michael Biehn as Kyle Reese (Metal Gear NES in 1987), Arnold Schwarzenegger (Snake's Revenge in 1990), Mel Gibson (Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake on the MSX2 in 1990), Christopher Walken (Metal Gear Solid on the PS1 in 1991) and Che Guevara in Metal Gear: Snake Eater. I only saw Kyle Reese in the artwork and Che Guevara's look. I didn’t see the resemblance with the others at all. The graphics at the time for those games were just too poor.
The character Omega Soldier, not the game. But since he doesn't have a character page on giantbomb.com, this will have to do.
Natalya Simonova was everything a Bond girl should be. IGN ranked Natalya as the 7th best Bond girl saying "she was exactly what the franchise needed to get back on top after a lengthy time away from the big screen". But it sucks that in the 2010 version of the Goldeneye 007 video game, she looks nothing like Izabella Scorupco and Kirsty Mitchell's voice acting sucked.
Only the video game character... not the film character.
James Cools... there's no pictures of him... yet.
Her Virtua Cop 3 look is much better.
The male Shepard I have is one with hair
The list also includes upgraded Agents such as Johnson, Thompson, Jackson, and other Agents such as Gray and White. I would love the idea of a reprogrammed Agent, like what the rebels did in Terminator, where they reprogrammed Terminators to fight for them. But I guess Agent Gray will be the closes one to that.
The first Driver game is the best and the only good Driver video game.
His 1990's cartoon character was the best on all levels. But in the comic books... I hope 2011 or 2012 is the year he leaves the X-Men and Rogue for good.
The only religious character I have ever liked. Although I only like his outfit and weapons.
He is pretty much unstoppable but if he had a little more intelligence… no one would ever be able to take him on or trick him. His relationship with Diao Chan is interesting. In her ending we see a softer side of Lu Bu. Only a woman like her could do that to him.
In the AVP world, one of the reasons why I like Linn much better than Machiko is that when it comes to being really strong and fast, she has a far better reason for being like that. According to AVP wiki and Linn's arcade Bio it says
"She was the product of ambitious Japanese corporations, the latest of cyborg technology, combining superhuman strength, speed, familiarity with all types of weapons, and a prototype programming that gives her virtually all the martial arts ever created."
I was looking for the Warlocks in Myth II: Soulblighter... but this will do.
With Episode-I… the only character I liked was Qui-Gon Jinn but only a little bit… not Darth Maul because like Boba Fett, he is overrated to the max.
The Circle of Magi needs to be like the College of Winterhold. There independent and they rule themselves.
He was the only character I was interested in. I would rather watch a trilogy of films about him (rise and downfall) than a mix group of people who have to rely on idiotic jokes to even be remotely interesting.
Was Medusa originally evil? Because I can't find anything that states that, even when she was human… it seems more like she was evil only because she was turned into a Gorgon and forced to live like that. Raped by Poseidon while worshiping in Athena's temple, and in a fury jealous Athena cursed Medusa with reptilian hair... that was her crime? I would love to read a story where she's not killed but cured and loved by the person who cured her
She may not be on my top 5 or top 10 favorite Star Trek characters, but she would be on a favorite ST list. I've always liked Beverly Crusher, I've always found her very beautiful and sexy... there were a few things she said and did that I didn't like or agreed with, like in episodes
<br />"The High Ground"
<br />"Suddenly Human"
<br />"I, Borg"
But I never hated her because of those episodes. The same thing could be said about my top favorite ST characters. Fuck the trekkies and trekkers who hate her or any ST character for dumb idiotic reasons.
I remember playing Darkstalkers 2 at my older sister’s apartment and she knew that I was going to like Donovan Baine… and she was right, he was my kind of character. He was a true badass in the anime… however both the Japanese and the American animated version had horrible writing, lines, and dialog. The Japanese version is only tolerable if you hear it in a different language. At least he got a cameo in Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 in Dr. Strange’s ending.
The original Hayden Tenno that is, from the original Dark Sector, where the title to the game actually made sense. The preview was a lot more action sci-fi and far more interesting than the repetitive action horror crap that we ended up with. The armor they almost went with looked like the Guyver armor… a little. But the one they went with looks a little too much like the Witchblade or the Darkness armor.
Bolo Santosi and Jade Tan were pretty much the only characters I liked, but Bolo was the only person I wanted to work for.
<br />It was clear from the start that Just Cause 2 wasn’t going for a serious action game. They went for dark humor with intended bad voice acting and dialog. It seems they wanted it to be funny, where Rico and the others have cheesy comeback sayings, and acting tough, like the action films of the 1980’s and 90’s.
<br />Bolo Santosi's voice actor is a London-based British theater actress Liz Sutherland. She states that western audiences are not familiar with South-East Asian accents and the producers wanted something different and new to western ears, also adding in that she had not meant for the accent to be Singaporean but an exaggerated version of it, which was meant to be exotic, unfamiliar and unreal. She had also considered her role to speak in a "unique" accent a pleasure. But before I knew that, I thought the reason for the accent was that perhaps she was born in Panau, but educated in Europe or in the U.S. at an early age and ended up having an accent like that.
<br />The last thing this game was trying to be was an action game with a dramatic storyline going on. Too many people take this game and so many others way too seriously. It’s not a dramatic storyline with character depth when you have voice actors who are pretty much impersonating people like Jack Nicholson and Ronald Reagan. The GTA games did the same thing with some of their characters, but somehow, there allowed to get away with it.
Jade Tan was one of the most sexist Asians in games in 2010.
<br />On their first meeting, Rico and Jade take a liking to one another. This develops further after he rescues her, as she begins to worry about the trouble Rico gets himself into. But sadly the relationship is left ambiguous.
<br />For me it's down between Bolo and Jade… but I think I would end up with Jade. If they make Just Cause 3, I hope she has a bigger part... maybe as Rico's partner and lover.
