Did I hear Vinny correctly at the end of this week's The Hot Spot that GB will be doing their GOTY 2020 deliberations in 2021? I wasn't sure if it had been mentioned previously on another podcast or something.
This week marks the 20th anniversary of the PS2 launch in Japan. I didn't hear it mentioned on this week's Bombcast. Reckon the crew have anything lined up to celebrate the best console of all time? 🥰
@frobie: I've noticed this has been broken in recent months too. There definitely is an `original_release_date` for the `/games` endpoint, it's right here in the API docs.
Can you please let us know when this will be fixed, because we can't guarantee the `expected_release_*` fields will be accurate. Thanks!
@blu3v3nom07: I'm using a bus-powered Seagate. This one http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00ILALU9G/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. Really weird that I'm experiencing these issues.
So I went into this film blind and absolutely loved it. It has shades of Drive and a soundtrack that's reminiscent of that and Hotline Miami. It's sort of a horror/comedy from the guys that made You're Next, and I'm surprised I haven't seen many people talking about it seen as it's just been released.
Here's a brief bit about the film:
A soldier introduces himself to the Peterson family, claiming to be a friend of their son who died in action. After the young man is welcomed into their home, a series of accidental deaths seem to be connected to his presence.
I've got a bus-powered external HDD connected to my Xbox One which is in Instant-On Mode. The problem I'm having is every time I boot the console, the HDD is not recognised and I have to unplug and replug the external HDD.
I thought there was something wrong here, so I called Xbox Support and the guy basically confirmed to me this is how it's supposed to work and I must replug my external HDD on every boot, which is ridiculous.
When I challenged how ridiculous this was, he went on a passionate tirade about how all the complaining last year (the 180) ruined the Xbox One and how everything had to be reworked at the last minute hence the reason is so "broken". Yeah, he actually used the word broken.
Anyways, I was wondering if anyone else uses an external HDD on the Xbox One and if they have to plug it back in every single time they boot the console up?
Thanks.
UPDATE: Looks like this fixed it.
@realph in console Settings > Power & startup, do you have "When Xbox is off, turn off storage" checked? ^PS
