RE:MERCS 3D had responsive controls, a tight/snappy feel to it. EX stages are a rush. Aggressive AI w/ 6 or 7 enemies rushing you at once and a balanced perk/skill set, cancel-able moves, varied weapon load-out...good times.
Jumping into the RE6 demo after that was very awkward, but i understand they are different games with different intentions...but...
The thing that worries me is the director for RE6 made RE:OUTBREAK which was a culmination of every (gameplay) misstep (outside of ORC and GS2) the series has made. IMO
heres hoping for a delay that puts Devils Third into next generation. This console generation has hit its max with threaded AI. plus, using mytics engine seemed out of place for itagaki and co.
note: this gama has a jill valentine look-a-like thats looks more like JV than current JV. Which isn't hard to fathom.
@birdflu777: yes, it dumbs down the formula, makes it easier. Not in a good way. The attacks(both yours and enemies) are more varied but the incintive to pay attention to them is reduced. Its mashy in a dynasty warrior way.
