Music is a big part of why I play games. A few years back, practically all I listened to was video game music. Even now, there are some video game OSTs that I find myself constantly going back to. Even though some people [that are dumb] find video game soundtracks distracting, I find that in most games, they trigger a memory, even when you haven't played the game in years. These are the soundtracks that you'll find yourself whistling in public. The only rule is that there's only one game per franchise. Sadly, this means only one Final Fantasy, which totally sucks.
 
Number 5:   Mass Effect  
Mass Effect is an incredibly memorable game. What helps the game be even more memorable is its soundtrack. Not only does it bring out perfect emotions, but also gives a feel that you really are in your own space opera. 
  

  
Number 4: Fire Emblem
Choosing which Fire Emblem I wanted in this Top Five was excruciatingly difficult. In the end, I had to go with Rekka no Ken simply because of the incredibly strong main theme of the game, which is remixed to perfection in the following track. Nothing gets you more pumped up for getting some sweet revenge and saving the world than this. 
    
Number 3:  Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 
Even though I don't really care much for the game itself, Ocarina of Time has one hell of a soundtrack, along with the rest of the franchise. However, I chose Ocarina of Time simply because of the fantastic Ocarina tracks. 
     
Number 2: Final Fantasy VII 
While many of you might not like Final Fantasy VII too much, you have to admit its soundtrack is incredible. There really is no song I find more beautiful than the main theme of FF7, video game OST or otherwise.

Golden Sun: The Lost Age 
Listening through the soundtrack of Golden Sun is like listening through every Beatles album. Practically every single song is just incredible. Be them the themes to random towns or battle themes, every single song in Golden Sun is truly fantastic, which makes it my favorite Video Games Soundtrack of all time.
