That's a pretty cool idea especially the mobile app. How the heck do you get at that data though? Does rockstar have some sort of API?

I wish. :) I get the data from the JSON file they use to populate the Social Club BAWSAQ, and it can be quite a headache at times, since they never intended for the numbers to be used this way.

BAWSAQ Alerts is a free web application I've been working on for the past few weeks that lets you subscribe to stocks on BAWSAQ and notifies you by e-mail when they reach the value that you've set. It's in beta and still being improved and expanded upon, but it's already sent out over 1400 stock alerts since its inception. This is a non-profit, entirely fan-made project, and is not affiliated with R* in any way.
